Fresh off holiday break we launched a chilly story to match the chilly weather most of us may be having!
It deals with the ancient windigos and the MetaVerse version of them.
A word of warning that the species took a more enlightened turn then in conventional canon. The pack like mentality seemed to fade over generations and gave way to a more isolationist republic in the sky!
I have heard the complaint that MLP:FIM, as an American children's television show, does not have much character development. I disagree. They've done some things I never expected to see.
And no, it's not clickbait.

No, I still don't like the guy (I blocked him) but one has to give credit where is due.
While he is known for hating giving characters complex personalities because they hold back the plot, he, perhaps unwillingly ,wrote an actual complex character.
Who is this complex character?

A couple thoughts on Rainbow Roadtrip. Nothing majorly spoiler-related, but still, under the cut.
So Flipper Choco's an original character made from the My Little Pony franchise, under the Power Ponies sub-universe. Of course, I've been busy trying to map out his personality, but it seems I can't put his overall appearance on a base. Not every OC has to start with a female one, right? ^_^

I just finished the first two Season 2 Character Bios of my story and posted them on Devianart for the world to look at.
It may look like as if this two were practically ripped from the cover of this story but I actually redraw them again and it turned out relatively well for once.
I don't even know if I should post this. I'm not one of those people, I promise. But I've been thinking a lot about this, and I wanted to talk to the internet about some characters I know.
Zoey groaned. How many more times was she going to wake up like this? Even with her eyes closed, she could sense the bright light around them.
…Wait. Light.
“Lisa?” she turned her head, opening an eye. Her voice was still hoarse from the screaming.
No Lisa.
Zoey shot up with a heave, propping herself up with an arm against the grass beneath her.

As short as Chapter 4 for Endless Horizons turned out to me, I actually spent more time editing it then the first three that I've uploaded. I wanted to amp up the action a bit then the draft I had before, especially at the part near the end. Partly for the readers benefit, but primarily to show Aella seeing and reacting to the horror of the wasteland more.

Welcome once again, writers! It’s Being a Better Writer, here again to discuss all things writing related! We’ve got an interesting topic to dive into, but as usual, there’s some news to discuss.
It'll still be a while on the next chapter of Endless Horizon, unfortunately. I ended up reworking chapter 11 due to a few changes to Sky's character, and how situations in the chapter will be handled because of it. So I'm in the process of writing it again ((at least much of the original draft is still useable)) Then I'll still need to go through and edit it. Maybe even have someone proof it, though my friends who've been helping have gotten super busy with life stuff so we'll see what
Obviously relating to a character is an important thing for a lot of people when they consume media. I saw myself in Twilight when I was young, and tbags what got me I to this fandom. I didn't have friends, didn't know how to socialize, and spent most of my time with my nose in a book. She and the show as a whole is likely part of the reason I have friends now. I'm still learning friendship though, primarily communication and trust. I'll probably never learn everything
So what do I do without a new episode to talk about this week? Well I suppose you'll just have to watch the video to find out!
