Yep, it's that time, folks.

I don't know if I'd entirely say the story is perfect, but if I want to release it before Friendship Games comes out and steals all the thunder from human Twilight, then I don't have much of a choice. More time would be nice, but editors only have so much time to work on it.

The first chapters have receieved a lot more polishing, in any case, and chapters will be published on a 1/week schedule, so the editing will still be able to keep up.

i don't think I've ever actually written a fic that primarily features the equestria girls world. like, yeah I've done cameos and such here and there but at least personally without going back to check I don't remember any story where there's much emphasis placed on that parallel world.

i think I've got a bit of an idea on how I could spin things 🤔🤔🤔

I have made the executive decision that y'all are getting Original Fiction with a sprinkling of pony. Expect a very, very heavily AU Equestria in the coming chapters as I write fresh lore from the ground up that turns (the equivalent to Equestria) into a former satellite state of a larger empire on the decline.

For the past couple days, for whatever reason, all of the imgur links to the images in Fractured Sunlight were broken. I hoped the problem would fix itself, so it didn't, so I reuploaded everything to imgbox and changed all the links to match.

It should hopefully be working for everyone now.

Astute readers may note a slight difference in one of the pictures.

• 28247 words (in reality a little less than that due to two chapters having been rewritten along the way
