Hi all! For those interested in competing or otherwise following the 2021 version of my Cuddlefic Contest (Original Announcement post here), I have some new updates.
First off, Hoshizora has *very* generously contributed to the prize pool! They'll also be added to the judging pool for the contest.
I've greatly streamlined the rules for my weekly Quotable Trick Contest (click to see update) and clarified a couple of things.
Quick question, is it okay for me to add a story to two contests if I add it to both at the time of publishing the story?

With a theme of "Just This Once," May 2022 was a good month for the Flashfic contest, with ten stories entered in Loganberry's Flashfic 150 contest (unless I miscounted 
), of which nine qualified as MOFA entries. (The difference is because I can't accept my own entry to Loganberry's contest as a MOFA entry.)
I stopped what I was working on and decided to write a story for a contest I saw posted. The contest is for stories that ship Sunset Shimmer and Wallflower Blush in EQG, so if that sounds like something up your alley then feel free to check it out. For me, I approached it like I usually do by writing how I feel it would happen in canon within the existing universe.

For some time now I've been itching for some stories in a certain vein, and while I think ASOSA did scratch some of that itch I want to see what some other people can come up with. So I'm going to start a contest to promote the proliferation of the kind of stories that I just love and cannot get enough of.

Bastion trilogy part 1 is finished. Latest version I've got, I'm happy with.
Part 2: delayed. I intend to get some practice in writing something Dungeons and Dragons-style of setting. Why do I need that? Well, it turned out to be needed for this story. Sorely needed. Which leads me to:
Contest story: re-thought.
I’ve been in this fandom for a long time. About a third of my life at this point (which is its own breed of terror to herald the start of Spooky Season.) And in a few months, I’ll be celebrating ten years of Friendship is Card Games. According to tradition, that’s the tin or aluminum anniversary.

Shakespearicles is hosting a contest for writers to show some of that lewd spirit of summer! It's a 'Secret Santa'-esque event where you submit a request and you receive a request in turn. PP does these occasional blogs where he talks about stats and where he's at with projects and stuff, and it's something I used to do fairly frequently. With my recent spat of no internet connection outside huffing off a piss poor unsecured signal from down the street and at work(where I was too busy to pony), I've had some time to think about where I am in terms of my writing projects, and I thought I'd share.
For those who have noticed my absence, I will explain myself to you and will answer any questions about the OCA contest as of where it stands and what not.

Well, today I've just submitted my newest story, Weatherpony, which is incidentally a contest entry for the Everfree Northwest Scribblefest this year. It's about a weatherpony who has to save the city of Cloudsdale from rogue weather, but there's something very important that makes this particular weatherpony, named Windy, special.
One of my readers alerted me recently that a contest for fanfiction is currently taking place on Inkitt right now and is lasting until the 29th for collecting votes for stories. After painstakingly uploading every chapter of The Lost Element to be entered, I found that a bizarre protocol in indentations prevented the story from being eligible. Instead, I entered what is currently my highest rated work, Musings of a Fallen Princess.
It appears that, though some mysterious means yet unknown to me, that I have won 1st place in a contest over at the Weekly Contests group. The theme was "Repeating".
Keeping a low word count while maintaining a coherent story was surprisingly difficult, but I'm glad I thought to give flash fiction a try.
There's a lot of not shipping Sunset going on right now. You know what would fix that? A good old fashioned contest of shipping Sunset.
