Alright, so. It's been three and a half weeks since I released a new chapter of Quantum Vault. I just noticed that tonight, and I feel I'm doing a disservice to readers by letting it go that long and being ambiguous with updates.
Quantum Vault chapter 8.1, "A Long Way Down", is now available. Fresh off the pasterns of a confusing, sordid piece of romantic, terrifying adventure, the minty mare finds herself, for the very first time, in the future. There are new gadgets aplenty to keep a geeky mind constantly elated, but an encounter with a living legend and a huge pair of horseshoes to fill might just be too much for our heroine and her holographic companion to handle this time...
this will be our last update unless something goes right or majorly wrong
we still do not have a reliable place to stay. we know someone who has said we can stay with them, but it doesn't seem like they are going to come through for us. we have an interview with two potential renters tomorrow, but we are scared they will not work out.
currently we also do not have anywhere to store our things. we do not have much, but our books take up a lot of space.
Sorry for the long wait, but I've been stuck on this part of the story for a while. I knew what I wanted to do, just not how to translate it into a chapter...

I was actually well on my way, but I still had some planning issues. Then I had an idea while I was work, and then it all clicked into place!

Hi all. Not sure how many people read this. But I'm sure people will see it soon enough. As of right now, I just finished (I think) the 'clop' part of the story prologue. I did a word count and the clop alone is just over 4000, while the total word count is almost 9700. This has been a good workout for my brain. Once I got started, I just couldn't stop coming up with more stuff to add. The other day I caught an error that I had to fix. But it turned out well. I'm thinking I should be completely
