Right now I’m dealing with a bout of bronchitis. It’s not infected so far as I know - which is good, because that shit ain’t fun - but it has basically turned half of one of my lungs into a slimy, inflamed mess of mucus and suck.

Hush was an incredibly personal story to me, not for the usual reasons. Hush was personal to me because it really shed some light on my struggles with Paranoid Schizophrenia. The feeling that somebody is watching you, the hallucinations, the voices, and (For me) the tactile hallucinations are all very real. The worst part of the illness is that it's in the one place you can never escape: Your head.
Fuck everything. I want to write. But I can't, not right now. This is going on for a week and four days now. I feel weak. I feel nearly constantly exhausted. Nothing else but pure and 100% relaxation can give me at least a tiny shred of happiness. The moment I touch something that can be described as "work" in one way or another, I feel how my brain starts to twist and knot itself. I get ill and feel sick. I have the desire to write, to write for Lemon Crumble and Cozy Glow and Kettle Corn and
Three days off every week. Sleep through the first day. The next two days I wake in six hour segments before the tiredness kicks in and I go sleep for another eight hours, spend another six hours awake until my energy wears down again, exhausted by nothing, back to bed. The last night/day/morning, whatever I call it, stay awake too long, desperate to accomplish something on my extended weekend. Jujitsu begins two hours before my overnight shift at Good Burger. I miss it, as usual.

I just wanted to give you all a quick update on what's been going on.
To say this past week has been a rollercoaster would be an understatement.
I think this is week six of me being significantly ill with no rest. Chest pain is a little better than before (left lung bronchitis, hopefully). Cold-like symptoms have returned. Fatigue is high.
So, yeah, might be a while before I can respond to stuff here.
0thly, my girlfriend is not a QAnonDeathCultist. She is simply a wuss afraid of medical procedures. This has already cost her many teeth in her 40s because she is too afraid to go to the dentist for maintenance and repair (her fear of the dentist causes her much more pain and suffering than the dentist ever could (at this point, her teeth are to bad from neglect that the dentist would probably have to pull all of her teeth and fit her for dentures)).

I feel better. I think I can be productive again today. I'm going to take care of some things that have piled up now, then see about getting some writing done. I'll be at a con all weekend, so I have to write a complete chapter of "A Storm on the Horizon of the Arcane World" for Sunday.
So I finished reading John Green’s new novel: Turtles All the Way Down. And it is now my personal book of the year for 2017 and my new favorite John Green novel. Though I’m incredibly biased as the book is essentially about anxiety and mental illness, of which I am terrifyingly familiar with.
It had only gotten worse, and now it was nearly unbearable. It felt like there was a pack of Fire-types going wild in the pit of her stomach. She was vaguely aware of Miri asking her a few more questions, which she answered as best she could, but not much else besides the pain.
