I found this a long time ago. Rare composer Grant Kirkhope posted this, and several other uncompressed pieces from GoldenEye.
Simply put, this is what he composed before he received the N64 dev kit, and had to compress and re-loop them to fit on the cartridge, severely reducing the quality.
For those of you who haven't heard, Grant Imahara of Mythbusters fame passed away on Monday. He was someone I admired as a robot enthusiast and he inspired the Iron Horse character Umahara. Mr. Imahara was 49.

Still plenty of interviews in the cycle- but what a relief!
It feels stupid to keep opening these announcements with plays on "this has been a long time coming," but it keeps being true: the first invitations for this anthology were sent out almost exactly two years ago, in November 2019.

I'm finishing up my last year of medical school and matched into my first choice residency (at the same hospital/school I'm at now, actually!); so I apologize for not posting any new content in... 13 months 
Let me get something out of the way.
I said in my previous blog, I didn't like this show. And I don't. But I don't hate it either. I don't look at it as an embarrassing stain on Castlevania, like Lords of Shadow or Legends or, most hideously, Equestrylvania. I look at it more as an interesting experiment.

I'll be honest about this:
Before I saw this film, I was expecting to have one of the worst times of my life, largely after reading the amount of negative feedback it got. I prayed to the Lord that my worst fears wouldn't be confirmed.
And you know what?
My prayers were answered!
