I came down with something a few weeks back, and man, was it persistent! I don’t know what it was, even my parents and the doctors didn’t know! All I know are the symptoms:

Dizziness
Lightheaded
Temporary bouts of nausea
Aching back
Fluctuating temperature (in between 98° to 102°, back and forth)
Headaches (despite that I get those almost every day)

If anyone has any idea what this illness was, please let me know, because even now I’m still in the dark about it.

Jewel has been ill for a few days now and I have just caught what he had. Normally this would not be a problem but I am not normal. CFS means I'm basically sick all the time, and when I get true sick it is what the doctors refer to as "double sick" (that is the technical term). The upside is that the chronic pain generally disappears like magic when my immune system gets even more serious than normal, but the fatigue is worse and that really knocks me for a loop.

So last night, I got a sore throat. It was small, nothing too bad. Popped some cold medicine, slept on it.

Today, I felt absolutely miserable. Illness sure knows how to put a huge dent in my plans, and it's so awful I fear I won't be able to push out a letter by Monday.
