So for the past few months a friend and I have been planning a rather lengthy story series. It is a mix of completely original characters and ideas mixed with some community favorites. It follows the story of a mare, Spotlight (yes she is the one I have plastered all over my profile) and her contribution to Equestira's history.
Happy late night blog to you all!
I'm actually partway through one long journey and another, so currently I'm trying and failing at recuperating between flights. But! I got some exciting news over the weekend, which means it's time for me to share some background information with you guys.
Early in My Little Pony, we saw how neurotic and fearful Twilight Sparkle could be. For example, she came up with the idea of Celestia banishing a pony, then locking them in a cage in the place they have been banished to in "A Bird in The Hoof." Also, practically everyone who is familiar with the fandom is also familiar with the "Magic Kindergarten" line from Lesson Zero. Often, it's thought that this neurotic behavior from Twilight is something she had in her childhood.
Shown here with my girls.
My copy of Nightmare Nights has arrived! Still strange seeing my story in print. Like, people can actually buy this. Are buying this. And you can too!
ALRIGHT!!! The shortest Hiatus is OVER!!! New episodes, new adventures, lessons, characters and, most importantly, character development!!! Now, to make this special, for you guys, I have some special guests! *Clicks on a button and some portals open around him. Falling down painfully are the ‘guests’* Ladies and gentlemen, give it up to our guests!!! From FrostTheWolf, the first Crossover I had from When Lightning
So the reading list marches on, left, 2, 3. Left, 2, 3. And this time it's the ever classic Sun Tzu's Art of War, a very short book that amounted to 6 pages of military theory notes from the oldest treatise. And the other was From Aristocracy, to Monarchy, to Democracy by Hans Hermann-Hoppe. I quit reading this book about 30 pages in because it was drivel.
GO READ!!!

CHAPTER 6:
I didn’t like being alone with Rarity in the bathroom. I preferred open spaces that would allow me to escape if I felt the need for it. Worst of all, she seemed to be getting ready for one of her tedious monologues.
Sister’s am I right? Can’t live with em? Can’t stuff em back in the old baby-maker?
Time for my fourth blogpost!

Some tidbits from my headcanon, just for the heck of it:
Fluttershy's mom was an earth pony, hence the pegasus' lackluster flight ability (except in times of stress) and affinity for animals.
-- Bulk Biceps is her brother, which would explain the apparent familiarity between the two in "Rainbow Falls" as well as his stunted wings and insane strength (earth pony parent).
AJ's mom was an Orange (Clementine), a violinist who taught AJ how to fiddle.
No, not that Doom.
Okay, first of all, this editorial was meant to come before Chapter 7, right after the second interlude. But the absurdly bad timed combination of my nephews coming to visit, a bone-crushing cold and your typical Chilean earthquake delayed its publication, so here it is.
I've seen (and read about) a lot of Original Characters with horrible color schemes. Really horrible. So for today's blog post, I thought we might discuss something that is often neglected in character design: color theory.
Hello everyone!
No time for an introduction, I've been teasing this for almost one month now, here is the latest art based on the 10th chapter of "Silent Love".
Like the cover, it was made by my good friend Killjoy! Big thanks to her!
I certainly hope you guys like it!
See you in the next chapter!
Heya, folks!
Well, not that my illness is mostly something I’ve run over and have left in the review mirror like a freshly smashed into dimension hopping telephone booth and rental store out in the middle of nowhere—
That’s right… Making references right out of the gate.
Something PresentPerfect said in response to my secretly-self-insert story reminded me of an important idea I wanted to share. To explain it, we'll need to visit Princess Luna Celestia.
So as of today, I've finished The Prince by Niccolò Machiavelli, and The Dictator's Handbook: Why Good Behavior is Almost Always Good Politics. I've been taking careful notes of the three books I've read total (of which there is 61 pages and almost 20k words of), and of future events in War Against the Sun as well. Rest assured, it will come, but probably not as soon as you expect.
