A very special holiday is coming up in Ponyville, and everyone is getting ready to spend the day with the mare or colt that they love... except for one. Poor Fluttershy is all alone. She had once been in love, to be sure, but that was back in Cloudsdale, he has been gone for a long time now, and this time of year only serves to remind her of what she once had.

But that was then, and this is now, and now she has friends who care about her and don't want to see her suffer any more. And now they are on a mission; to find the colt Fluttershy loved, and still loves, and bring him back to her, forever.

Life. It's one of the most precious gifts in the universe. Tiny heartbeats knit in the womb, little souls brought into being by the love of two parents. Fluttershy and her husband Hailstorm wake up one morning to realize she's feeling strange, but soon will realize their own little miracle is about to arrive.

An old friend of twilight's moves to ponyville, and he falls in love with Fluttershy. He's too shy to say anything to her, but he eventually overcomes his fears and nerves, and tells her how he feels, and they begin a wonderful relationship. not, no more spoilers, you'll just have to read it to find out what happens. Twilight's long time friend Lux moves to Ponyville from Canterlot. Even though he is shy and uncomfortable talking to other ponies, Twilight and her friends try and help him to overcome is timid nature. slowly he eyes another pony from afar wishing he could be with her, but every pony has secrets. Will he risk revealing his secrets to find love, or will he carry on with his life the same way he has for years.
