A surprise visit shows Scootaloo that parents can come in all shapes and forms. They can be cute and cuddly and pony-like... or they can be Muay Thai Deathgods. Either way, she's bound to have fun.

Being a vampire can be rough. Unluckily for Twilight, she just had to end up as the most unpopular vampire type of all time. On the bright side, her last name actually makes sense now.

Princess Luna finds a visitor at her door who gives her an unexpected gift: a Changeling foal. After agreeing to raise him in Equestria and teach him the magic of Love and Friendship, she finds him quite a hoofful, but also useful to have around.

Follow Midnight Star, a Changeling in the middle of Equestria, a place where revealing your true identity could be dangerous. But, as he learns of Love and Friendship with the help of the mane six and others he meets, can he show Equestrians that Changelings aren't dangerous and deserve to be loved?

This is part one of my Shattered Harmony series, this will also be my focus until it's done. Chapters will not be regularly posted, as I'm busy with work and life.

Edit 1: This story is inspired by one song that I found off of youtube: Never Ending Nightmare. There will be several scenes in here that will be inspired by several songs, well known and by famous brony composers, but the main story has been inspired by Never Ending Nightmare. For those who have watched me from the very beginning, this is the story that will have scenes inspired by Electrokaplosion.

Edit 2: As of now, this story is canon up through the season 4 finale. Hasbro can't do anything in the show to ruin my headcanon!

This is actually an Essay rather than a true story.

Is is a thought experiment that explores a potential economic system that could exist based on canon, with references from the series detailed inline as needed to support arguments.

In another demention, where everypony is discorded and Discord is ruler, lives a young unicorn who isn't discorded and wants to try to make the demention full of love again. Then the adventure begins. She travels to the human world where she brings 5 new people into her demention to restore the love and harmony of the discorded Equestria. They have to find The Elements of Love to restore peace. But then the opposite happens

Chrysalis hungers, and she has captured her next meal. Unfortunately for her prey, the Queen of the Changelings enjoys playing with her food...

After being marooned on an icy world in unexplored space, Lumina must now face the perils of this frozen wasteland and search for some way home. But in this dark place, she discovers something that was lost to pony kind ever since the fabled Equestria sank into the ocean over 10,000 years ago. Something that will change her, and possibly the entire galaxy, forever.

Not a cross over, and not an alternate universe. This is the far future, and this has happened before.

Sunset Shimmer has returned, having travelled between worlds and crossed the dark spaces between dimensions to emerge changed, both more and less than a pony. Driven by a dream of impending doom, she sets out to unite the races of the world, heedless of the destruction that she would bring upon the world in the name of saving it. With the support of the proud zebras of Grevyia she launches an assault upon Equestria that will bring down the princesses and shake the peaceful land to its foundations. Using the power of the ancient Labyrinth Box, she imprisons the four mages who alone can threaten her: Twilight Sparkle, Breaking Dawn, Trixie and Chrysalis the Changeling. Now these former foes must work together to recover their true identities and escape the terrors of their enchanted prison.

With Twilight missing, Applejack and Pinkie Pie enslaved and Canterlot taken, Rarity must take up the mantle of leadership as Regent of Equestria, while Fluttershy braves dragons, deer and griffons in her quest for allies. And, as Sunset's tyranny grows ever more cruel, it falls upon the slender shoulders of the Cutie Mark Crusaders to be the salvation of Equestria.

After the Changeling invasion, Celestia and Luna make the decision to have Twilight investigate the Elements of Harmony and solve the mystery of their power.

A thousand years later, Rainbow Dash awakens in a world she does not recognize. She has no idea how or why she came to be there. She does not know the language, the geography or any of the rules of this new time. She soon finds allies in Star Fall, a scholarly pegasus whose Talent is Magic, and Astrid, Star Fall's Griffin guardian. War threatens the nations, a Nightmare stalks the shadows, and Rainbow Dash's arrival has turned her into a wild card in a deadly game that pits the law on both sides of a broken Equestria against a mysterious criminal figure, Max Cash. Yet the stakes are higher than anyone knows, for in her research Twilight Sparkle discovered a dark secret about the Elements, something that will shake the foundations of the world.
