Sunset Shimmer couldn't sleep, which was a bit of a common problem as of late.

She usually deals with her insomnia by taking walks through the City of Canterlot. Tonight however she has decided to take a different rout then her usual.

This decision will take her through a leisurely midnight stroll in The Twilight Zone.

(Ok so she's not going throw The Twilight Zone but I don't know how to write these descriptions and It just came to me.)

Canterlot High has remained way behind for Sunset Shimmer and Flash Sentry; the former was on her way to becoming a scientist, while the latter became a special forces soldier. But their bond, once shattered, then rebuilt and almost forgotten, still survived throughout the seasons.

But if they were to agree to try again - what do the next four seasons have in store for them?

Sunset Shimmer is running late on Monday morning, and after she meets Indigo Wreath, she is even later. But maybe missing first period is worth it if it means hanging out with a cute boy.

• Based off the EqG short song "Monday Blues". Technically "Alternate Universe" as a result.
• The title may be based off of "When Harry Met Sally" but I've never seen that and it was the first thing that popped into my mind. The two are in no way related.
• This is a silly ship that I don't actually support, but I felt the need to write this. Also, it's always nice to let background characters have a story for themselves.
• This is less meta than I intended it to be.

Prom season sucks for Big Macintosh. He wants nothing to do with it at all. While down at the lake to collect his thoughts, he meets Sunset Shimmer, a fellow classmate who is also fed up with dances. They might have come to be alone, but their company is far better than solitude could have been.
