Shortly after having messed with Twilight and Cadence, Discord has gotten a bad case of the...well there is no name for it. But he knows that only one mare will take care of him. Fluttershy had just returned from her little trip and the Draconequs has decided she needed a little bump in her life.

This was written to be submitted to Equestria Daily. It has some spoilers from S4 so please be careful not to spoil it for yourself. This is my first Comedy fanfic so please give postive criticism.

For Twilight Sparkle, life has been good. She has had friends and family to support her throughout her time in both Ponyville and outside of it. Through those bonds, her passion has grown strong and is ready to show the world what she can do.

However, not even she can prepare for what she is about to encounter. When an old rival-turned-friend pops around to visit, can Twilight learn to depend on somepony who has held a grudge on her for so long?

Can she fulfill her role as a Princess and guide souls back to the light?

This is written for the 5th Equestria Daily prompt. Please provide constructive criticism. The topic that was attempted in this particular work was FOILs, AKA, attempting to write about two opposite characters.

What is it like to fly? To defy gravity in all its' power. To say no to the very laws of physics that keep the world in order.

To be able to see the world in a way only 1 out of 3 ponies can view.

I live that life everyday. Some could even say it is not longer nostalgic. I think I've seen it all. From the lush forests of the Everfree to the splendor of Canterlot and the big city, Manehatten; to the small town of ponyville where I reside to the city of Cloudsdale where I was born. But only now do I realize what true ability I have. Now I understand why I was gifted with such an ability.

They make make fun of my eyes, but I see the world in a different way.

It is the night of the Summer Sun Celebration, but not everypony is celebrating. Princess Celestia, the one upon whom the entire festival depends, has other things on her mind. This marks the one-thousandth Summer Sun Celebration since Nightmare Moon's imprisonment, and the signs have been clear that this will be the night she returns.

Far from racing to confront this threat, however, Celestia has hidden herself away in the royal palace in Canterlot. As she tells Shining Armor, she won't—she can't—fight her sister again.

This story explores Celestia's role in, and her conspicuous absence from, the struggle against Nightmare Moon as shown in Season 1, Episodes 1 and 2 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

My response to EQD's Writer's Training Ground prompt #6: "Author, Equestria is in peril! Assemble a team of one Mane Cast member and their foil with attitude!"

It has been two and a half years since the events of Equestria Girls, and the portal to the human world is open again. Twilight receives an urgent letter from Princess Cadence asking her to come to the Crystal Empire immediately. Somepony has come through the portal, somepony who knows Twilight personally and is asking for her help to save Equestria.

Twilight Sparkle and Pinkie Pie discover smudges covering the family ties of the same pony in different genealogical records; taking a closer look, they discover what appears to be large scale tampering with the genealogical records.

Deciding to solve the mystery Pinkie Pie travels to Canterlot, where she pairs up with Princess Luna in an attempt to solve the "Smudge Conspiracy".

This is the very first piece of fiction I wrote outside school assignments, and it's rushed due to the deadline to boot. I plan to edit it in due time, adding back a couple scenes I simply didn't have the time to write, but that will likely happen only in Q3 2014.

Feel free to point any flaws; it's why I took part of the Writer's Training Grounds, after all.

Fluttershy is out of town. Discord has driven away Rainbow Dash, made Rarity and Applejack bedridden, and sent Twilight out on some quest or another.

When the Pinkie Sense detects something amiss in the Everfree Forest, Pinkie goes after a certain zebra friend.

In the not-too-distant future, Rainbow Dash is a Wonderbolt. And in the not-too-distant future, Lightning Dust is on the track to becoming a Wonderbolt, having not gotten kicked out of the Academy on her second try. In fact, in the not-too-distant future, Dash is stuck supervising a group of hopefuls, including Lightning. Unfortunately, they do not have a very friendly relationship.

This is particularly unfortunate when they end up grounded in the middle of the Everfree Forest together.

Wow. I got that into EqD three minutes before the deadline. Really, if I was going to cheat by sending it in before it's properly up, I should have just kept writing. But apparently I have too much integrity to fix the rushed ending or something. Maybe I'd rather have a hurried story and an excuse than a poorly written ending that I can't explain away? In any case, I'm sorry I left this so close to the deadline.
