On the fourth day of the fourth month of every year, Equestria pays homage to its fallen heroes. As daylight sets on this solemn ceremony, the immortal sun bows before the soldiers who died for her, and whispers an ancient question for which there is no answer.

Celestia is far from an ordinary filly. The wings on her back and horn on her head have made that quite clear. In the corrupt, poverty-ridden world of steam and grime that she calls home, judgement against alicorns is swift and final by order of the Lord of Chaos that ponies have learned to worship.

The road to safety is far from welcoming, and fate has greater ambitions in mind than freedom for Equestria's last surviving alicorns.

Everypony in Ponyville is happy, carefree, and content with their life on the whole... except one. Rarity harbors a dark, murderous secret. She is Equestria's only active serial killer. She has to balance her fashion life, her friends, and her murderous urges as best as she can. This is the story of her mind.

A lone scientist wanders through a barren wasteland, with no memory of what happened to his former home.

This story is based off of the song 'September' by The Living Tombstone (feat. MictheMicrophone).

I don't actually own that song, but I wrote a fanfic of it anyway.

Just some writing practice for me and when i heard this song I couldn't help but write something for it.

As the millennium draws to a close, a certain monarch reflects upon the actions that brought about her loneliness...and the loved one she has lost.

This is an unofficial prologue to Season 1.

This story was inspired by ponyphonic's "Lullaby for a Princess".

After the Traders Exchange closes a lone bat pony glides down towards Rainbow Falls in search of companionship. She finds a filly eager to learn why there must always be a princess at the Traders Exchange, a tale she is happy to share.
