This is a revised edition of what I posted on fanfiction.net. Too short for EQD, I decided to post it here.

When the prince and necromancer, Blue Bones, is banished from the unknown Frozen North he must find a way to survive in new conditions or take over the throne. Taking a mechanical and curious device, called a train, and adapting at every stop only to settle into a seemingly busy port city doesn't seem appealing to Blue Bones. But he should be able to get a job here fairly quick. Without anything with him when he departs for his new life, he begins to miss the things he used and the dead ponies he used from the dungeon for his experiments. He had learned simple things in the time of three years. He is now seventeen and would be married, accrding to his traditions, but the exile made it impossible for him to wed anyone from the Northern Lands of the Cold he missed.

Cancelled because I haven't touched this in three years.

Almost a year after what seemed to be the concluding battle in Celestia's great crusade against necromancers, something Mortem believes to be borderline discrimination, he discovers one of Celestia's armies setting up camp just outside his stronghold.

Not wanting to jump to any conclusions or risk angering the very powerful Princess, he concludes a diplomatic solution would be the best way forward. And so, he writes a letter.

"Then figurp it out, Morty. Christ, and here I thought you were getting at least a bit smarter. Just, write down something about, uh, 'Rick and Morty Get Stuff From Horse Land'. 'Morty and Rick and something something horse pun'. I dunno, something."

"I want to go back to the ponies..."

"Oh, I bet you would like that, huh, MMMorty? Go back to the girly dimension full of urp friendship and magic and all that. Look, just give it here, I'll, uh, just put it up as it is."
