You've been dormant for a long while, but finally, your time has come. Your Archqueen has awakened you and tasked you with establishing a new hive, your hive.

As a newly spawned changeling Queen, it is your duty to care for your hive and protect it from hostiles changelings, pony guards, and starvation.

Will you be subtle or hunt for love? Will you find allies among other changelings hives and ponies or conquer them all?

The Hive hidden in the Scarred Forest, officially dubbed the 'Scarred City' by its allies, has already changed twice in recent memory. The first time was when Chrysalis reached out to Equestria for peace and Twilight Sparkle joined their family. The second was when Twilight Sparkle ascended to the throne and changed things for the better. Now, as the queen finally opens their eyes, the whole world will see how they will change. For better or for worse.

A good Queen's job is never easy; if the world doesn't challenge them, they'll challenge themselves. Luckily, they have others that they can rely on to aid them.

But that can be hard to do, especially in times like these. The Cultural Exchange Treaty has thrown Changeling Hive Chrysalis into a radical state of change, and no one is sure how things will turn out.

But I am sure of this: I care, and I'll do whatever it takes to help her.

Things Chrysalis dislikes: winter, sports, winter sports and, above all, being bested by Celestia at winter sports. But when your trusty advisor says it's high time you took a day off, you do what she says, even if her idea of a vacation spot turns out to be a ski resort at Equestria's absolute north.

Queen Chrysalis is a very busy monarch.

Not only is she going to expand her Hive's possibilities by signing a Cultural Exchange Treaty with Equestria, but she's also working on a duplicating spell that will allow her to create a perfect assistant for herself - which is, by the way, strictly forbidden and frowned upon by the Equestrians and in several other, supposedly civilized nations. So it's for the best that they wouldn't find out, right?

And just when you thought that Twilight Sparkle is the only magic user capable of casting a spell which 'accidentally' turns your world upside down... Chrysalis is there to prove that she is no worse.

If it weren't for a group of young mares, saving the day with luck and intuition, Equestria would fall. Chrysalis finds this absolutely unacceptable. For the love of ponies and their carefree way of life, the changeling queen takes a stand. Will she survive? Will Equestria?

After Chrysalis attacked Canterlot and revealed Changelings to the world, the other hives are angry. A single spark could set off this powder keg, and then anything could happen.

Meanwhile, Princess Mirage, daughter of Queen Imago and heir to the Everfree Hive, tries to figure out what to do about her best friends, as yet unaware that she is a changeling.

When the inevitable happens, and war breaks out, is Mirage ready to navigate the political minefield she finds herself in?

A great many ponies made a great many mistakes leading up to the Canterlot Wedding.

Their biggest was assuming Cadance was the only target.

The Canterlot Wedding was two weeks ago. Celestia has not been seen in public since. She has a secret--something dark and terrible--something that could bring down all of Equestria.

Queen Chrysalis sees an opportunity to break up the Elements of Harmony before they spoil another one of her brilliant plans to rule all of Equestria. Since all of them are unmarried mares, all she needs to do is get them fighting over a stallion. And if one stallion isn't enough, she sends one male changeling for each of them, plus a spare.

Too bad she didn't think this one through first.
