A young filly writes to the newly-crowned Princess Twilight, asking for advice.
She's made one small mistake, though, in assuming Twilight feels qualified to give it...
This story is a sequel to Rescue on Diamond Mountain
Story seven of the Savage Skies series. The first months of Dawn's stay in Ponyville have been tumultuous, to say the least. Fortunately, winter is coming, not only offering the colt respite from his enemies, but also giving Dawn the opportunity to enjoy the season with his new friends and family. Little does he know that this is to be a season of many firsts for him.
Meanwhile, a new pony has come to Ponyville in response to Twilight Sparkle's call for research subjects. Unfortunately, this stallion's past experiences have left him bitter and paranoid. It will be up to Rarity, of all ponies, to make this unexpected guest feel welcome in Ponyville and heal the wounds in his heart.
Here is a tale of sadness and woe
Featuring the Cutie Mark Crusader trio
Whereupon the three find their special talents
But due to a horrifying happenstance
They find those revelations come at a price
And the end result isn’t always nice
This story is about some of their happiest days
And yet their worst in so many, many ways

This story is a sequel to Lonesome Years
It is the last day of Luna's time on the moon. She spends it by remembering all that has occured.
This story is a sequel to A Thousand Years
Luna is just back from the moon. On the chariot ride back to Canterlot, she and her sister delve a bit deeper into exactly what her becoming Nightmare Moon did to both of them as well as to their relationship with each other.
A lot has happened to Rarity in the last few years. Engagement, new business, adventure, losing a limb. But with the last, she is done with adventure and with danger, or at least, done seeking it out. For Rarity, nothing seems safe anymore, and so when Rainbow has to help with a huge freak storm, Rarity is left alone in the dark.
The dark which she has learned to fear for wholly justified reasons.
Nothing is without a price, as many discover to their sorrow. Few are those who truly know themselves, and fewer still are those who know which prices are worth bearing—and which hide perils threatening that which they most treasure.
