It was supposed to be a mission of peace, a symbol of political unity. It was supposed to prove that a pony-griffon alliance was possible, that the two races could overcome their biologically-programmed notions of 'predator' and 'prey.' The Verdant Song could have been the end of their Cold War.

Whether by intentional sabotage or negligent miscalculation, the ship now limps through space, billions of kilometers from its destination. Without any hope of rescue or contact, the natural order of species prevails.

Some defy their instinct. They attempt to salvage what is left, avoid the merciless hunters, and bring the Verdant Song home.

If they succeed in reaching Equus, they can save the surviving colonists — but along with the colonists, they would bring home a ship full of irrefutable proof that griffons are carnivores and ponies are prey.

When the Elements of Harmony defeated Discord, they did their job too well, and completely undid all of the things Discord directly did...

... Like send a subcontinent from earth into a pocket dimension so he could focus properly on his toys. And now Equestria has appeared on Earth.

Yet, neither side was completely ignorant of the other. On Earth, there was the show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" and in Equestria there was the ever popular movie serial "The Dark World: Technology is Courage" which was a favorite of colts everywhere as well as the "Pumans".

And now both sides learn through an event that the other is real. Come join us as we watch as both sides learn to work and live together. And as they find out that events on their respective fiction was not as nice as it seemed as we widen the lenses of the view points...

Two months ago, a changeling posing as Rainbow Dash tried to abduct Twilight. Nopony was hurt, but Twilight became a bit paranoid--how could she make sure something like that wouldn't happen again? The best thing she could think of was to invent a spell, empowered with her full might as princess, that would forcibly remove the disguise of any changeling in the vicinity.

It's testing day, and Ponyville's about to get twenty percent buggier . . .

AU taking place between seasons 3 and 4. Trigger warning for one scene of implied dubcon.

English expat and web designer Robert Ellis is not a particularly devoted brony, though he's read a lot of the fanfiction, and he really dislikes "My Little Dashie" and the "doorstep filly" sub-genre it spawned. Whoever decided to abduct Diamond Tiara as she slept and deposit her in a box on Bob's doorstep must have a taste for dramatic irony.

But Bob isn't interested in playing by the rules of the genre. Not when he's got his big sister, her two kids and his pal Trevor the UFO-hunting policeman to call on for backup.
While the local police and an intelligence agency he was not previously aware the Canadians had grapple with the question of who sent her here and why, Bob and his cohorts deal with the more immediate problem of looking after an earth pony with an attitude problem, and Diamond Tiara gets a crash course in the fine art of not being a spoiled brat.

There's going to be a lengthy process of adjustment for all of them, but it could be worse. And maybe they'll both end up being better and happier people for it.

After being stranded in Manehatten, a changeling is saved by a young filly who is being terrorized by a monster hiding in her closet. After the horror has been taken care of, the changeling and the young filly become close friends... and the changeling and the filly's foster father become something more...

The second story in the the rebooted Cricket-Verse, aka the Nonsense-Verse

A few days after The Friendship Castle appeared in Ponyville, Rainbow Dash asked Twilight again if she could turn her into a Griffin, just for an hour.

At first, Twilight refuses, thinking Dash will use the form of a Griffin for mean-spirited pranks, but when Dash explains she just wants to know what flying like a Griffin feels like, she agrees.

However, Pinkie Pie bounces in at the last second, trying to warn them of the spell going wrong.

Something goes wrong alright. something that will make Pinkie and Rainbow wish she hadn't tried to warn them.
