On a dark night filled with even darker magics, an insane cult attempts to give Nightmare Moon a body and life of her own, utterly separate from Princess Luna. But, when the spell is interrupted by Celestia, something unexpected is created.

Now, a little black alicorn filly named Nyx finds herself living under the care of Twilight Sparkle, only to be haunted by memories and emotions from her past. Is she Nightmare Moon reborn or is she simply a doppelganger with a soul and mind of her own? Can Twilight Sparkle protect Nyx from those who refuse to see past her dragon eyes and black coat?

Or, will Nyx be forced to inherit the sins that may not even be hers and become the greatest evil Equestria has ever known?

It was a surprise that Dash offered a kiss as a prize at the charity auction. It was a surprise that the colts were as "enthusiastic" as they were. It was a surprise that Dash didn't leap on the colts and beat them for their comments.

But, the biggest surprise of all was which one of her friends bid on her kiss... and why.

Sweetie Belle has failed to get her cutie mark. Again! Deciding to go for a walk in order to try and forget about it, Sweetie finds that she has somehow stumbled into the Everfree Forest! While looking for a way out, Sweetie comes across a creature you never want to cross. A Timber wolf!

However, this one seems a bit...small. And scared. and trapped in a hole in the ground!

Having a change in heart, the young pony decides to help the poor pup. However, this pup doesn't seem to want to leave her alone now...things only go downhill from there.

I am Spartan 227 a highly trained SPARTAN-III Super soldier that served during the fall of Reach. No, I am not Noble-6. I did serve along side them, but I was never seen mainly due to the fact I flew Sabres amd provided air support. However when I heard of the Pillair of Autumn making her escape after Six had risked his life using a MAC cannon. I made myself a mission to keep him alive. After all SPARTANS never die, they are just missing in action. I soon found that my mission has been altered, follow me on my journey in world that Humanity has never discovered.

A halo crossover with MLP. Shall we see where this goes?
p.s i have not read much Halo Crossovers so I do not know what to expect
Also on a note. I have based my Charcter's HUD off the game Halo Reach however I have added a few 'personal' additions to the suit. Why? Becasue come on who wouldn't make the suit more atuned to them?

A vengeful demon steals Starswirl the Bearded from his pleasant afterlife and shoves his spirit in a book.

Starswirl is secretly elated by this.

Not so much once he meets the pony he'll be staying with for the indefinite future.

I am a unique creature. I'm the only one of my race. I was know as fear and hope. I would serve a pony from time to time. My latest was King Sombra. He saved my life so I saved his. This lead me to be captured and locked away. Years have gone by and I have been forgotten.
That was until I felt a sign of life approaching me. If this creature sets me free I shall owe my life to them.
I am Dako. I am fear and hope. I shall have a new master.

Halo Crossover
Lima-030 is a Spartan III code named Dragon. He is sent on a mission with the objective to extract information from an Elite corvette and then terminate the ship. He does just that and winds up on Equestria of which he has no knowledge of up to this point. He also finds himself not just on an unknown planet, he has magically become the planet's native species, a pony. He wasn't the only one to survive the destruction of the Covenant vessel, a large group of ponified Elites appear upon Equestria's surface.

This story was started fall of 2011 shortly after I had become a brony. At the time, I had only seen about half of season 1 so anything that is wrong about the characters used are most likely due to this. I wrote the first chapter and part of the second chapter in a month and then stopped for what ever reason. I then continued and have about three or four chapters done by February. I didn't write everyday, just when I had an idea or was in the mood. I hadn't got around to posting any of the chapters before because I was busy and hadn't gotten around to it. The main character Dragon is a character I had originally created for a project I might get to called The Last Spartans. Basically, he is an experimental Spartan III that had augmentations that made him impervious to many human weapons and other things. The down side was that it messed with his mind causing him to have hallucination and made him destroy the wrong people and objects. To try and repair him, the UNSC scientists restricted his memories and emotions. He forgot his original name, his parents and younger brother, and when he rarely feels emotion, his anger is spiked to dangerous levels followed by sadness and pain.

This is my first fanfiction and I would like to know what things I could improve on. Also I hope you enjoy the story as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Jorge-052 gave everything for his species, his planet, and his squad. Or at least, he thought he did. He did not expect to survive the destruction of the super carrier. And he certainly did not expect to be dumped into a world of colorful talking ponies. The battle-hardened, bred-to-kill super soldier may find himself a little bit out of his comfort zone.
