Aang, Katara, Sokka and Toph are searching for the Flying Bison, Appa, in the safe city of Ba Sing Se but things don't go to planned when six benders show up lost and confused on their doorstep. Aang makes it his duty to protect the six girls form the Fire Nation no matter the cost. Even if one of the girls seems to be able to wield fire.

Twilight Sparkle has been framed in the attempted murder of her mentor, Princess Celestia. Her friends know she is innocent, the princess wants to believe but the statement of Trixie seems damning. Who will the jury believe?

The Sun and the Moon are separated and the teacher reunites with the student.....

This story is a prequel to The War for the Sun & Moon.

Twilight and the bearers have been missing. When they return, Celestia has to deal with how her student and friends have changed. Will she be able to, when they now possess as much power individually as the Princess of the Sun?

[A/N] The cover art is one of my favorites from the comics. It doesn't have much to do with the story, or does it?

Thousands of years before the time of Twilight Sparkle, two children are born: The first natural alicorns in millennia. At the same time, a great evil dwells... A scientist, tapping into the taboo, creates an army of living shadows, ready to wage all-out war on all of Equestria... And the only ones who can stop it are the Princesses, Celestia and Luna. With Equestria in their hooves, will the young Princesses be able to cope with their newfound power, as the race they were born into collapses before their eyes?

NOTE: This story stars a villain from G1 MLP known as Grogar, who was initially a goat, but in this fic he is portrayed as a Unicorn. The reason for this is spoiler-y.

A terrible curse from the cold deeps of space and the dark recesses of time has destroyed Equestria. Princess Twilight Sparkle is the last surviving member of the royal family, and leads the colts and fillies of Canterlot and Ponyville across the Great Salt Sea to settle a new land. She must pit her magical powers, her leadership abilities and her intellect against terrible dangers and foes, and she does what she would have thought unthinkable in order to give her nation a chance at survival.

This is the first part of a planned four-part epic adventure. It is a dark adventure with violence, danger and intrigue but it is not a splatterfest. There may be some mild shipping involved.
