This is a tale of one group of heroes meeting another, and see if they can be more than a team--than heroes--and become friends. Discord has reached far beyond the confines of his stone-encased prison to offer the peaceful world of Equestria to two of the most dangerous villains ever known. The maniacal genius of Doctor Eggman joins forces with the mighty Koopa King Bowser to plunge the new-found world of Equestria into chaos. The Princesses of the Moon and Sun must muster all of their immortal strength to defend their realm from the tyrannical duo. If that should fail, Equestria's last chance falls to the Bearers of the Elements of Harmony...but their power--and friendship--is untested against dark forces from another dimension. But hope comes from a band of heroes: legendary warriors from different worlds who have assembled to fight as one against long time foes and would-be oppressors. Will Video Game's Mightiest Heroes arrive in time to assist the Bearers of Harmony? Or will they be too late?

Bored out of his chimeric skull, and unable to just cause random chaos as he used to, Discord does the other thing he does best...After trolling...and annoying folks...

I'm talking about finding loopholes, he found a loophole, and now not only can he cause chaos, big and small, but he get's paid to do it!

Business is Booming

[img]http://i.imgur.com/6MrWqNZ.png[/img]Twilight takes on the most important task in her career as a princess of Equestria, when she opens up a magical portal to a distant world with extra-Equestrian intelligence. With her organizational skills and keen understanding of scientific principles, she leads diplomats and scientists in a well-planned expedition to a historic first contact.

The first exchange doesn't quite go without a hitch, however, as the portal opens near a pony ranch at Texas, Earth.

For the purposes of this fic, assume Equestria Girls didn't happen.

Former one-shot.

Christopher Boatner is a diplomat from Earth, in Equestria to interview Princess Twilight Sparkle to understand pony culture and customs better. Thing is, he's unprepared for what amounts to one of the biggest discoveries between humans and ponies ever. Bad puns. A lot of them. Along with general ignorance about the creepy nature of cutie marks. Will Chris be able to handle the multitude of horse puns? Read to find out!

A rainy night at a bar really brings out stories from within ponies. During a game of poker, Equestria's rogue list, including Nightmare Moon, Chrysalis, Discord, and Sombra, plus another, the baddies start sharing stories. The similarity; the telling of how they almost won their most famous defeats.

Loosely based on the episode, "Almost Got 'Em" from Batman the Animated Series

Discord is cursed to say bad puns. He goes to Twilight for help.

Discord lost. He was once again turned to stone by the Elements of Harmony and returned to Celestia's little garden. With nothing much to do but wait, he lets his mind wander into the limbo between universes. From there he contacts other Discords in a similar predicament and together they come to a brilliant idea: Ally themselves together and overcome their respective foes!

Today is the day (in a manner of speaking) they organize this alliance.

It all goes as well as you would imagine.

It took many long years and far more defeats than he'd care to admit, but at last—at long last—victory was finally within the great Ahuizotl's reach. Absolutely nothing, not even that meddlesome Daring Do, would be able to stand in his way any longer. Yet even with his arch nemesis facing her inevitable demise and the ultimate power literally in his grasp, he can't shake the feeling that he's forgotten about something.

One tiny, crucial detail. Something very important. As in, 'could easily ruin his plans if not attended to' important.

Eh, maybe he just left the oven on again.

Newly reformed and eager to put his magic to good use, Discord has decided to become a teacher and bask Equestria in the greatness that is his knowledge. Unfortunately for Celestia, he's decided she'll be his first student. Time for her to deal with a lesson about chaos theory. Hopefully she'll survive in time for the test.

Warning: You may actually learn something from this story. Or not. I'm bad at explaining things.
