Everypony has a story. Some tell of heroic feats and grand adventure. Others tell of villainy against the forces of Harmony. The story of an average guard, however, is one of obscurity. They live in the background, unnoticed but ever-present.

Silent Knight assumed his tale would be like that of his father's: join the Royal Guard and serve Equestria. He would be just another helmet and spear, part of the rank and file. And that was all he ever wanted.

However, when Captain Shining Armor asked for volunteers to form a House Guard for the recently returned Princess Luna, it was Silent's hooves that stepped forwards to set his new life in motion.

With the re-enactment of the founding of Equestria under way, Rainbow Dash unknowingly takes her role as commander hurricane too seriously, unlocking an ancient pact that the windigos had made with commander hurricane himself. Rainbow's wish for companionship right then had forced a windigo adolescent foal to take the form of a pony, but with his memories erased.

Now with a pony that insists on calling her Commander Hurricane and insists on following and doing everything for her, Rainbow Dash has to find a way to adapt to her new lifestyle and tolerate this new pony, or to find a way to send him back to where he came from.

Story contains windigo OCs. Not a fan of OCs? Don't hate and just disappear, please.

Lyra and Bon-Bon have been dating for awhile now, but because they are fillyfoolers, they've decided to keep it secret - at least for now. However, when Lyra's friend slips up and tells Pinkie that it's their anniversary, Pinkie thinks she means "Best Friends Anniversary" and decides to throw a... PARTY!

Will there romance stay secret under the eyes of anypony with un-Pinkie-ish logic?

Due to an editing/publishing error, all of Twilight's friends have now 'officially' died of old age. This leaves an immortal Twilight to grieve over the tragedy of how she outlived all of her friends and will continue to do so for the rest of her eternal life.

Seeing the obvious pain that this news is having on Twilight, Princess Celestia moves to console her with the help of her supposedly-but-actually-not-really-deceased friends.

There have been many theories as to what happened to Starswirl but few know what happened that day. You do though. You found his last entry before his greatest experiment. Aren't you lucky. Just keep telling yourself that and maybe you'll sleep without waking up in the middle of the night with beads of sweat dripping onto your bed. Maybe.

Being a princess is stressful, but your peers and friends can certainly help.

That was what Twilight had in mind when she invited Luna over for tea one afternoon. A relaxing, friendly meeting between two fellow princesses where they can commiserate and share their experiences. An invitation to a stronger friendship than they had before, offered to a pony displaced in time.

What she got was an uncomfortable assertion about her relationship with her number one assistant, Spike. One that she is having difficulty refuting.
