A Lament Story One Shot
Octavia struggles with her life as a musician. Ponies expect a lot from Canterlot's best cellist after all. Yet, she can't shake the feeling that it's becoming way too much for her to handle. Her human friend Ryan seems to be the only one she can turn to at this point since everypony else only wants her to do more and more. Will Octavia be able to maintain her sanity?

It's that time of year again.

The holidays, a time of joyous celebration, gift giving, chorus singing and drinking of strange alcohol. You've really only managed to do that last part so far.

You sit now in a bar, trying to forget the bland feeling you have from the constant reminders of your loneliness.

While there, you hear a commotion and a strange woman who just might be the thing you want this Christmas.

(Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it and happy holidays to those who don't. No sex in this one I'm afraid, but a feel good time of year needs a feel good kind of story, no?)

You've been stranded in this magic pony talking land for 6 years now. Thankfully you haven't lost your sanity despite being restricted to the Canterlot Castle this entire time.

During that time however, you've become friends with the Princess of the Night and, apparently, the Moon. Her name is Princess Luna but she does seem to have a mix of medieval and modern speech.

Though you wish to say she's your best friend with the pranks you both do and all around the castle. You can't help but wonder why she hangs around with you all the time though.
