The first few towns the Mare comes to might think her to be a curious, quiet sort. That's alright though: the Sisters have only just defeated Discord, and enough ponies bear scars caused by the tyrant for everypony to know when a mare just wants to keep to herself.

The defeat of the King of Chaos isn't the end, however. Great beasts now roam Equestria, preying on its inhabitants. On her quest, to Sisters-know-where, the Mare will defeat the monsters, and finally bring peace to the nation.

The Princesses are coming to town, and Twilight has set herself to organizing the perfect spur-of-the-moment, off-the-cuff, impromptu tea-time to welcome them. And when Celestia requests a specific drink, Twilight is determined to get it perfect. Just. Totally. Perfect. The fact that the drink comes from Pinkie Pie is only a minor obstacle.

Luna's asking about cider. Fluttershy is trying to duck out. Dash is out for a refund. Rarity is pumping Twilight for information, and Applejack is wondering where her sales cart is.

In the end, it'll take one special friend to help Twilight get things right.

Applejack reached up with a fore hoof to touch the brim of her hat. It was habitual, almost unconscious. She could feel, nestled safely underneath the hat, her two most precious treasures--a single blue feather and a small snippet of purple mane.

They were precious, more precious than anything besides her family and her farm, because they were only pieces of them she'd ever have.

Twilight and friends learn that prolonged exposure to the power of Pinkie Pie can cause some rather interesting side effects. An unbearably silly idea that wouldn't go away until I wrote it down.

The old Forge City holds many prizes but Starforge only seeks one: Beglan's magical crafting hammer. It greatly enhances the abilities of any craftsman who wields it to work metal or magic, and in its time it was used to make many artifacts of wonder. The last surviving cyclops has promised it to anyone who is able to pass his test and prove themselves a master craftsman.

Just taking the test won't be easy, to say nothing of passing it. The city is lost in the deep jungle, and has new residents who do not take well to intruders.

A United States Army Military Police soldier finds himself in Equestria after surviving an ambush in Afghanistan. Old enemies return to threaten the kingdom and it's up to Twilight, her friends, and the strange newcomer to stop them.

When simply reading a sign can instantly infect the unwary, and cases start to turn up all around Ponyville, Twilight Sparkle casts the only spell she can find that can give her the time she needs to find the cause of the plague.
