After the War of the Ring and the return of peace to Middle-earth, Gandalf the White departs for Equestria to visit two old friends of his; specifically, a certain pair of alicorn sisters.

Yet he does not foresee that Equestria, like ponykind, has changed with the years since his previous visit, and so he is quite unprepared for what lies ahead. Can the Wizard endure the trials that this new journey will bring? Surely, but only if he makes a few more friends along the way.

A warrior from a distant land is stolen from her home and brought to Equestria — literally kicking and screaming. Worse still, she is told that there will be no return trip. After a quite terrifying encounter in the Ursa Majors cave with Twilight Sparkle and her friends, Rarity awakens the day after feeling not too well, and steadily getting worse as the day drags on not realizing her body slowly succumbing to the effects of Vampirism.

Scootaloo decides to go visit her two friends Sweetie Belle and Applebloom.

The Great Equestrian Foam Sword Fight is a fabled event that happens once every fifty years. To win the event, one must incapacitate another pony using the most dangerous weapon known to pony-kind.

The winner of the event is also said to win untold riches that nopony knows about. With everypony trying to win those riches, the strongest bonds will shatter, the dirtiest of tricks will be played and all bets are off. After all, there can only be one winner.

It is also one of the few times were a pony can legally knock out another pony using a piece of foam.

Applejack, concerned about her brother's relationship with Fluttershy, confronts the shy pegasus about some of the, ahem, 'activities' the pair get up to. It becomes a conversation that Applejack will regret for the rest of her life.

Spike and his remaining friends have tried to put the past behind them, but when a revelation about their demented friend comes to light, they have no choice but to confront the corrupted Element of Magic. They hold Equestria's fate, for if they fail to save their friend, Twilight will enact an apocalyptic genocide upon the ponies she used to know and love, dooming them all to a fate far worse than death.

This is a sequel to my story Friends Forever. It is highly suggested you read that one before this one, as it details Twilight's descent into insanity and how the current situation came about.
