My name is Jack Smith Johnson, and I am the last of my kind.

For years, I have hidden in the shadows of society as my kind dwindled; captured by force or simply lured by the promise of hot food, warm beds, and a life free from being hunted. As far as I know, I am the only non-brony left alive. And that won’t be for much longer.

This will be my last Thought-Journal as Jack Smith Johnson. As soon as this finishes, I’m sending it to the tablet I’ve hidden. This is the tablet you now hold in your hands, reader.

The morning after a wild wedding reception, a number of couples awaken and must face the paths life has set them on.

Originally published in February of 2012 on the Pony Fiction Archive, after over two years... it's finally finished.

When Pinkie Pie was younger she lived on a stone farm. That's the only thing she tells everyone. Twilight is about to find out the whole truth- the truth about why Pinkie's parents never visit her, and therefore why Pinkie never talks about them.

Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, and Scootaloo go on another crusade to get their cutie marks after a failed attempt of gaining a cutie mark in making candy. This time the want to enlist the help of Vinyl Scratch, but also get some unexpected help from Octavia.

A story that I, Rustling Leaves, heard related at Sugarcube Corner this past week, and it wouldn't leave my head. I have dramatized it some, collected journal entries, and conducted a number of interviews.

Our protagonist (who wished to remain anonymous) is pulling late hours in a little diner, pouring himself into the MLP comic he's editing, to avoid thinking about his troubles.

He's spared from his problems by a little, pink pony who can violate the 4th wall.

After Prince Blueblood and Pinkie Pie met at the Gala, he'd expected it to be a one off thing, like so many times before. So why is he finding it so hard to tell her that?

18/12/2013 - I have revised the story (mostly chapter one to fit the changes to the Gala story) there is also some tidying up of the grammar. Thanks to Georg with his help.

Rainbow Dash is the best at many things: she can fly at speeds that most pegusi can only ever dream of; she's the only pegasus to ever produce a Sonic Rainboom (and live); she's the pony you can trust to always have your back in a pinch; she can turn any area in Ponyville into her own personal bed, from clouds and trees to rooftops and the rafters in the town gazebo. To say the least, Rainbow Dash is a mare of many talents, with an over-inflated ego to go with them.

One thing she isn't very good at, though, is letting her emotions show. For that, she's always needed her dad.

Four years ago Vinyl and Octavia broke up. It was messy, painful and left scars on both of them. Four years on, now one of the most successful DJs in Equestria’s history, Vinyl receives news that Octavia has been in a terrible accident. The doctors say she may never recover from her coma, but Vinyl refuses to believe them. There are all sorts of stories about coma patients who are brought back by the voice of someone they care about, right? No matter what anypony else says, offers or threatens, and no matter what it costs her personally or professionally, she is determined to stay by Octavia’s side and do all she can to wake her.

But four years is a long time, and no matter how many fairytales end with the princess waking up, real life owes no-one a happy ending.
