I am not Twilight Sparkle.

I have her body, I have her memories, I have her power. I am not her, and I have done such terrible things. This is my story.

Tom Harlow always dreamed of being an astronaut as a kid, and now that he's finally going to space, he couldn't be more excited. However, when he takes his first walk out into space, he finds more than a pretty view of Earth and countless stars waiting for him.
He finds a pony.
Now, as Tom and fellow astronaut Eddie Rains are marooned on the space shuttle Skywalk with the alicorn princess, they decide to try to lead a normal life in space.

This story is an attempt at a Human story that isn't quite HiE, nor is it really PoE, if you understand.

Rarity always wanted to be Lady Rarity. Over time, it became more clear it was not meant to be. But she's fine, she's got a successful business in Ponyville, her fashion line showing in Manehattan and she has her friends, even if most of them are moving on with their lives. A prince sweeping her off her hooves was just not meant to be.

So how in Equestria did she end up on a date with the richest pony in town?

Confusion, feelings and wine mix for a potentially explosive, heartwarming (or rending?) evening, along with a pinch of generosity.

In an Equestria where Discord never was, and the Pony Princesses never came to power, a young Twilight Sparkle loses her family in a crowd during the Summer Sun Celebration. Little does she know that her very existence is about to set a series of events into motion that will take her far beyond the borders of Equestria itself—and change the fates of both her nation and her life, forever.

A world of unending water has something lurking in its depths. It’s up to Twilight Sparkle to submerge herself and her rag-tag group of friends into the mystery that lies below the sea.

Takes place in the break between Season 2 and Season 3.

The Gates of Tartarus have been breached, releasing evils long since vanquished back into Equestria.

Celestia sends her student Twilight Sparkle to investigate the Gates of Tartarus, but when things don't go quite as planned the young unicorn is forced into a difficult position. Through blood and tears she will be tested harshly, both physically and mentally. With unparalleled strength of self and unwavering faith in her princesses, Twilight takes up a mantle that no pony should ever be forced to bear.

Lower Case came to Ponyville a jaded stallion intent on finding a quiet place to craft his magnum opus, free of the burdens and strife of life in Manehattan. What he did not intend to find was an elegant young mare willing to open her world of friendship and creativity to him. What he did not intend was for her to open his eyes to the life he'd been hiding from.

What he never dreamed was that she would actually admire him for the stallion he truly is.

Once it was nothing more than old concrete and forgotten hallways. Then it became a haven for the fugitives of the everlasting war that raged between the different races. He was the janitor, always.

After being lost in time and space for centuries while fused with Discord, Twilight Sparkle has begun to lose her faith in herself and the Elements of Harmony. It is not until an encounter in Manehattan and a deadly fire that she begins to find her purpose again, and search for a way back home.

Twilight Sparkle is seen as a hero to all the ponies of Equestria. She not only stopped Nightmare Moon, but she also aided in sealing Discord and helped in preventing a changeling invasion. She however doesn't see herself as a hero, for all of her achievement she had to depend on the powers of others. Just once she would like to know that she can protect her friends herself, and not be the one that always needs saving.

During the first day of her one year leave to return to Canterlot, a strange meeting with Princess Luna opens the door to a great mystery, and a chance to gain the strength she desires. There's only one catch. This strength she can only attain with the help of Princess Luna, who also requires her help in protecting Equestria.

Twilight just has one question. Why does Luna keep calling her "Master"?
