Trixie's gone, but Starlight can't let go. The memories of their life together haunt her, torture her and when she can't take anymore, she dons that old cloak; once worn by her beloved partner.

Sunburst has a massive crush on Starlight that he's had since he was a foal. Trixie is aware of it and pushing him to confess while teasing him every step of the way. Meanwhile, Double Diamond comes to Ponyville to visit Starlight and Maud wonders about his intentions.

Title comes from the song of the same name from "Jem and the Holograms".

Many folks wondered, where were The Great And Powerful Trixie and Starlight Glimmer during the events of My Little Pony: The Movie? They seemed to get no mention at all! What were they doing?

While Twilight Sparkle and her friends were busy saving the world from the Storm King, Trixie and Starlight Glimmer were defending the home front of Equestria using guerilla tactics, magic tricks, and downright theatrical performances to save innocent townsfolk! But when things go wrong and it seems like all hope is lost, will Starlight Glimmer be able to express her true feelings before it's too late?

With my Judge’s Prize, one of the big things I was looking for was a properly chaotic Trixie. She’s a treat (and amazingly useful story-wise) when she’s at her wildest. A number of stories satisfied that, but this one stepped forward and also hit one of my other favorite things: I love stuff that happened ‘off-screen’ during other major show events. I could go on for a while about the bits I enjoyed – the finale is great for using an established deus ex machina well; it brings in some of the Equestrian allies who were weirdly absent for the Movie proper and does so in a way that helps the situation make sense; both Starlight and Trixie are adorable. But to be totally honest, I was sold on this one the moment Trixie declared “If the power of friendship will not defeat you, perhaps the Power of Incredible Violence will!” I’m a total sucker for lines like that.

There's a crisis going on at the School of Friendship.

It's not Twilight's main concern.

This was written purely to make fun of GaPJaxie for misusing "pouring/poring" in a chapter of the Starlight and Pals Magical Half Hour. It's pretty much a fan chapter for that fic. This was written with no planning, in about an hour and a half, and has had no meaningful editing, but that's what silly GlimGlam fics are all about.

This story is a sequel to How Not To Use Your Royal Prerogative

  In an Equestria where the Sonic Rainboom never happened, Sunset Shimmer is the prized pupil of the Princess of the Sun. As Sunset struggles to make up for her past misdeeds and come to terms with the pony she wants to be, Celestia sends her to find the classic work The Application of Unified Harmony Magic from the Royal Canterlot Archives.
  Right after lunch, some meddling by her friends and meeting somepony with firsthoof experience of the Sunset she used to be.

Not right now Trixie doesn't.

Finding themselves with a surplus of illegal fireworks, Trixie and Starlight begin selling them on the black market, to make a bit of extra money on the side. But what sort of ponies would want to buy illicit fireworks?

Short and stupid. Inspired by a joke from Season 8 Episode 7, although this story contains no real spoilers for the plot of that episode.

Hearth's Warming's party on the castle of friendship is coming to an end and Starlight had just realized that Spike isn't there to celebrate. Thinking that it will be best to find him, she ventures to his room.

What she finds, however, will remind her of something that she tried to lock away inside her mind: a vivid reflection of her past.

And What will await her? A gift that will change her life forever.

Just like it did with Spike years ago.
