Starlight Glimmer, stalwart head mare of the School of Friendship, is being given a birthday party like no other. Pinkie Pie and Applejack are planning a special afternoon for their friend and Sunburst Blaze, her steady boyfriend of some months now, has joined in with the planning to give his betrothed something that she had been denied when she was young, and he intends to set it right. Just what could Starlight's friends have in mind? Read on to find out what.

After Twilight pleaded to Starlight to help chaperone the CMC when trick or treating. Starlight tries to play it cool as she is still reminded of Chrysalis’ attack on her last month. She doesn’t want to seem like a scaredy pony but Twilight wants to show Starlight she can express her fears.

It’s been two months since Starlight’s first friendship problem.

Although the mission was a success Starlight’s psyche was damaged due to a nightmare, but Twilight helped her recover and the two revealed their feelings for each other in the process. Since then, the two have started dating and they couldn’t be happier.

Shortly after returning home from a date, the map calls them to a remote town. At first glance it appears that the problem is obvious, but they soon learn that things go deeper than they thought.

You know how it goes. You're just having a relaxing Sunday with the girls, who all are accomplished magic users in their own right, one thing leads to another, and suddenly you're all involved in a high stakes game of rocket chicken.

Betrayal always hurts, especially when it come form those you love and trust the most. Plagued by betrayals old and new, Twilight and Sunset began to walk the road to recovery and as they do, they discover that while the road may be painful, it’s also almost as beautiful as the pony walking next to them.

Romance tag is for SunLight as well as some Starlight/Trixie that will occur in the final scene of most chapters as a background story.

Starlight Glimmer is rewarded with new responsibilities in the wake of her ordeal with Queen Chrysalis and the changelings ... but she can't forget her past transgressions, even if all her friends have moved on from them. Now, her past is ready to return to the forefront.
