Rarity finds herself especially intrigued by the dresses of Ponyville's newest dressmaker. Struggling under the burden of her own adoration she finds herself trapped within an existential crisis. In this nihilistic twilight, she clings onto the last of her creative sanity, trying to pierce through the mysterium that is the new dressmaker's identity. A story that deals with what it is to be and, subsequently, what it is to not be in the world of creativity.

GLaDOS is free of Chell, free to continue testing, when she discovers a portal gun Wheatley tried to repair with duct tape. When the portal gun catastrophically fails, the enrichment center, GLaDOS, and Chell are literally dropped in the middle of Equestria. The mute test subject soon finds the world of ponies far more welcoming than the human world. But GLaDOS sees possibilities. Let the testing begin... for science.

After failing to stop Nightmare Moon in the ancient castle of the pony sisters, Twilight Sparkle is left with a scar that will permanently change the rest of her natural born life. As Twilight recovers from her ordeal, she finds that she is left with a difficult choice. Either live her life as a lie or sacrifice her innocence to protect the ones she loves. The path before her is set and she must now walk it alone. The sands of time continues ever onward, with everyone already trapped in its muddy depths. The sun will rise and the sun will fall. Waiting for its call, Death awaits for all.

Twilight finds herself enthralled by Princess Luna and everything she represents. As Celestia's pride and joy, Twilight struggles to repress these feelings. But an old and well-known evil surfaces again at the worst time. Can Twilight fight off the spectres of the past?

Two years after Nyx was stripped of the Nightmare's power, Twilight Sparkle is attempting to raise Nyx as a normal filly. But as Nyx's magical abilities begin to grow out of her control, the pair quickly earn the attention and ire of some powerful ponies who do not have Nyx's best interests in-mind.

During the night, the Elements of Harmony mysteriously vanish, and Princess Celestia enlists the aid of their bearers to find them. Twilight is forced to choose between her duties to her princess and her duties to her daughter. In the process, she discovers a web of conspiracy surrounding her daughter that reaches back a thousand years into Equestrian history. Twilight Sparkle is, of course, a genius. Her insatiable love for books has made her a walking encyclopedia of all things magic. But you can't become truly great in academia just by reading books; Albert Einstein didn't invent the special theory of relativity by reading about it in high school. Well, Twilight has aspirations of true greatness. Her world is full of mysteries that she won't find the answers to in her library, and she's determined to be the one to solve them. And all the while, a villain wielding a brand of deadly, unknown magic is threatening both her friends and the whole of Equestria. What's a unicorn to do?

Being a genius isn't quite enough. Luckily, Twilight is also a scientist.

This is an old story that takes place in the canon circa season two. It involves a slight re-imagining of Twilight to make her more of a scientist than a science fangirl. This doesn't mean she's no longer a cute nerd; if anything, she's more adorkable than ever.
