Discord's cold heart has been touched. Fluttershy has done her job. But the journey to reformation can't be made in a single crossfade. This is the story of what happened between the first moment of doubt and his presentation to Princess Celestia.

When Fluttershy wakes up to find Discord making breakfast in her kitchen, she knows it's going to be an interesting day, but then she discovers why he's come to see her: Discord wants a pet.
This can only end well.

Fluttershy, confronted by eons of loneliness and isolation, was left alone with her memories of a world she had left behind countless years ago. The eternal life of a princess was never meant to be easy, but with the constant loss of all she cared about, pony and critter alike, she could not help but slowly waste away. That was, until she finally decided to consult her last friend with a most unsavory proposal.

It has been months since Discord was reformed and relocated to Ponyville. Under Fluttershy's watchful eye, he has kept himself from harming or manipulating a single pony. There is only a small problem that came with the larger solution.

He has gotten bored.

Concerned for her new friend, Fluttershy suggests he uses his magical powers to help ponies around Ponyville in ways that no other pony can. Good thing, Discord has such a unique way to help ponies in need...

*Takes place a bit after Keep Calm and Flutter On*

After she had successfully reformed Discord, Fluttershy decides that he needs more friends to keep him better occupied, and also to make sure he stays good. Of course that friend would have to be as energetic as him, have at least a couple things in common as far as likes go, and be willing to take any and all craziness he's willing to dish out. Naturally, the first name to come to mind was Pinkie Pie.

At first, to Fluttershy, things seem to be going over quite smoothly. Pinkie Pie and Discord are getting along swimmingly; Pinkie Pie and Discord are at agreement's, and Pinkie Pie always seems to keep him in check, and best of all, all three form a strong friendship with each other.

However, before Fluttershy can go to any of her other friends about the good news, Fluttershy discovers a little secret between the two, that she now has to keep. That is, if she wants all of her friendships to stay afloat.

Fluttershy decides to have a tea party with her two friends, Iron Will and Discord, who are both pining for her affection. Things escalate into... weird.

Tired of Discord and his pranks. Celestia decided it was time he learns to have new friends and who to help him then his friend, Fluttershy? Will the Spirit of Chaos succeed in having new friends?.....properly not.
