It is the middle of winter and Fluttershy is in mourning. She's lost someone near and dear to her. It's a good thing she doesn't have to spend the cold and bitter season alone.

Ponyville is in the middle of a record-breakingly cold winter. Fluttershy is safe in her cottage, but still can't help but shiver as she watches thick snow pile up.

Fortunately, her partner is able to take her mind off of things.

Discord and Fluttershy spend a relaxing moment in a cenote on the Yutucán peninsula. The waters may be calm but the mind is always restless. Gleeful memories and dreams come afloat the surface, but so does a bittersweet reminder that deep below the water lurks the memory of decisions taken in the past.

Tw: Sex allusions but nothing explicit, this is more of a 'pouring the heart out' kind of thing.

Applejack makes a deal with Discord that seems both daunting and too good to be true.

And yet, the truth is the very thing the deal is about: because how can you get closer to others without letting yourself be a little vulnerable? How can one make deeper bonds with a friend through the truth?

And what if Discord wants a bond even deeper that that?

It is the big day for Fluttershy and Discord: their wedding day.

Their friends are happy for them, Fluttershy's family are elated that their little girl is getting married and ready to welcome Discord into the family with open hooves, Angel Bunny is not too pleased by his owner's choice of partner, but is happy for Fluttershy, and Spike has the honor being Discord's best drake, while Rainbow Dash gets the honor of Fluttershy's mare of honor.

Some ponies may not approve or understand what they see in each other, but the draconequus and pegasus don't care what they think. They're happy together, and to them, that's all that matters.
