The greatest displays of strength are not always the most overt. Fluttershy is not whom one would consider to be a strong pony. But when Rarity digs a little deeper, she discovers in her friend a strength that carries the weight of hundreds.

Viridian Meadows knows she has an overactive imagination, but she was fairly positive that the mysterious letter delivered to her door was her ticket into a hidden world of nefarious plots, evil villains, and world-shattering secrets.

Instead, she's invited to put her life in the virtual hands of a piece of technology that doesn't really make sense in order to embark upon a vaguely-described adventure with a bunch of complete strangers—all in the hopes of landing a job that hasn't actually been explained.

Naturally, it's the best thing to ever happen to her. Maybe she'll even make some friends.

But when she gives Applejack a hair style treatment in return, the apple farmer lets her accent slip from southern drawl to sophisticated Manehattenite. The result? More fancy parties than you can shake a candy apple at!

Hearts and Hooves Day is a sorry excuse for a holiday. Maybe it's the fact that most of her dates tend to get eaten by manticores, but Daring Do has long since given up on risen above any longing for romance.

But that doesn't mean she's not 100% okay with slinking into the Sugar Cloud Confectionery to hit up their sale on rainbow truffles. Hay no. This is her most important quest of the year.

Hopefully it doesn't end up like last Hearts and Hooves Day.

Ponies across Equestria see Hearth's Warming as a happy and carefree holiday. Nature knows no such concept. When an asteroid strikes the ground and raises a thick blanket of dust the week before Hearth's Warming, Equestria is faced with a winter storm the likes of which it has never seen before.
