Well, Starlight Glimmer knows a thing or three about temptation. She'll prove to Twilight that this spell – this magnificent book – is too important to destroy. That it can help ponies.

She just has to survive using it, first.

There's nothing strange about Alias, except for how awesome and radical she is, and how she totally relates to all today's youths and is not Queen Chrysalis. In fact, she's so definitely not Queen Chrysalis it's bodacious and by the way, what's your greatest weakness?

After being sold a "magical" necklace from Trixie, Queen Chrysalis believes she is completely invisible, and begins systematically ruining the lives of Twilight Sparkle and everyone around her.

Sadly, Chrysalis is not invisible. Not even close.

Near the end of the Changeling War, an Equestrian captain and changeling spy meet for the second time.

(A ponification of a short story from Ambrose Bierce's Civil War)

There are some questions that have baffled Equestrians for centuries.

What is the meaning of life? Does Heaven exist? Is Derpy sexy?

Okay. Maybe not that last one.

After learning of an ancient dueling ritual she'd missed out on while trapped in the moon, Princess Luna becomes determined to try a round of pistols at dawn herself.

Now if she could only find somepony willing to duel her.

During the first conflict with Discord after his 1,000 year imprisonment, each of the ponies who wield the Elements of Harmony were forced to match wits with the Master of Chaos. All of them found that they were sorely out of their depth.

Except, perhaps, for one.

After Discord is imprisoned, Celestia takes each of the ponies aside to hear their stories. Fluttershy is the last one called and is a little nervous about the meeting. With a little encouragement from a friend, she is able to join the Princess for a cup of tea and describe her encounter with Discord. It might prove to be a rather fateful discussion.

This is written for the Most Dangerous Game fanfic competition. The prompt is for Past Sins by Pen Stroke.

Shortly after the defeat of Tirek, a new, young centaur is found in the Everfree Forest. Twilight and friends bring her to the castle. What is she? Is she Tirek? Is she different? How will their words and actions affect the young centaur?

I would like to say thank you for the comments so far, and as you can see, the story is undergoing an edit and rewrite phase, I've broken the chapters up, and I'm going to expand upon them.
