Not that she didn't appreciate it, but just watching Applejack put together an entire dressing room was a prime lesson on How to Exhaust Rarity In 73 Easy Steps.

Perhaps after some rest, however, she might have a better idea how to show said appreciation. The only wildcard, then, would be Applejack's reaction...

An epilogue to DIY w/ Applejack.

Part of the Montage Cinematic Universe.

Set a couple days after the near-disaster that was Rarity's fashion debut for new up-and-coming designers (Honest Apple), this story is about two ponies who tried to ignore and shove away their feelings.

After Rarity finds out from Apple Bloom that Applejack sometimes goes out to some unknown location in the orchards to work off stress. And that she's been gone out there for a couple days this time, she makes her way to Sweet Apple Acres; determined to find out what is wrong with her friend.

Having completed their very first friendship mission, Applejack and Rarity soon find out that they're stuck in Manehattan for the night.

Perhaps it could be that "friendship" wasn't what the map had in mind at all.

She goes to her old childhood journal for inspiration. As she reads she notices a trend.
Hmm, she sure did write about Applejack a lot…

Equestrian magic has undergone yet another change. This is nothing new. Sunset Shimmer and her friends had always taken this kind of challenge in stride. Now, however, things are different. And Sunset Shimmer vows to find out why the strongest friend she'd ever made has missed an entire week of school.

This is a foolish, terrible decision that sets in motion everything Sunset is woefully unprepared for.

And we're BACK in the game!

Rated "Teen" for suggestive themes, inconsolable teenage hormones, and heavily implied sex.

Enjoy!

Applejack asks Sunset if she ever misses an aspect of her home. Specifically, one aspect that can possibly be filled in a big way this side of the portal.

The following contains young adults talking in a frank manner. Reader discretion is advised, not recommended for those with a maturity level above twelve years of age. Parental guidance is not advised, they would not understand.

For the past year, or so, Rainbow Dash has not been living comfortably in her own home. Her father walked out on her, and her mother has become a heavy drinker. All of that alcohol intake has caused Rainbow Dash's mother to be physically and verbally violent towards her daughter. The athletic Canterlot Highschool student has yet to tell a soul on what is going on at home. This is her struggle.

Set in an alternate universe, Applejack Apple, daughter of very creative parents, has opened a restaurant and now has to face certain obstacles that happen to happen in it with her crew of workers.

This is based on the board game Kitchen Rush, at least the generel idea and outlay of the restaurant is. Character conflict, the thing I'm trying to focus the story on, is hopefully original.

Chapters (3)

Every relationship has fights. Some relationships are fairly calm, with only the occasional light spat that is quickly smoothed over. Others have their ups and downs, but conflict handled quickly when it happens--no one likes fighting with a loved one after all. Still more will find work-arounds, lying, cheating, anything to avoid anger and upset because they can't deal with the potential for arguments.

Rarity and Applejack are not any those kinds of people.

For them, arguments and raised voices are just as integral to their relationship as laughter and smiles. They fight and bicker and disagree on everything from fashion to the weather to what movies to watch. Its just part of who they are, and they always work through it in the end.

But never in all of the years they have known each other could Applejack remember fighting over something so small. Or made of such see-through material.

A Rarijack One-shot set in the same universe as Cross the Rubicon, this takes place somewhere before the first Equestria girls movie, but while the girls were in high school. Can be read independently of Rubicon, but is technically part of the slowly growing multitude of side stories and ideas that have taken on a life of their own.

This story is a sequel to Asking a Favor

Sunset Shimmer has an interesting encounter with this world's version of a horse when she goes to help Applejack on the farm. This leads into a conversation that gets a bit more introspective than Sunset was probably hoping for when she came over that day. Sometimes you just need to hear the right advice from a friend though, and Applejack is plenty happy to oblige.

Set between the first Equestria Girls movie and Rainbow Rocks. Part of a series of fics I've been working on about Sunset's early days learning how friendship works, which starts with my previous story Asking a Favor. Can absolutely be read as a standalone though.

Rated Teen for one double entendre joke that I feel keeps it just out of E territory.
