Something's been bothering Sunset Shimmer for a while now.

How can there be a human version of Princess Celestia who's in her early forties, when Princess Celestia herself is thousands of years old?

The Rainbooms catch wind of Celestia and Luna's upcoming family reunion, and decide to crash it.

What they find there is...disturbing.

Rarity is struggling through the worst busy season she's had by far, and desperate for help. She soon decides to seek help, through the mirror pool. Aided by an army of clones they can finally power through countless orders and rarity can relax. Unfortunately, Rainbow Dash finds out and, after an attempt to return them to the mirror pool, is forced into one of Rarity’s makeovers. Surprisingly, she dosnt entirely hate it... but you didn't hear that from her.

Starlight Glimmer has won and Twilight and Spike are pulled into yet another alternate timeline. But everything is not as it seems.

Anon-A-Miss... Those three words ruined my life. My so-called friends hate me, the whole school hates me. No word from Twilight, I am all alone here. I don't know how to access the portal so I'm stuck here, or am I? Those girls don't want to see me again? Fine! I'm leaving for good!

Those thoughts fester in Sunset Shimmer's head. The girls' hurtful words make her question her own existence. Maybe if she just disappeared, everyone would be happy.

Everybody agrees that Sunset Shimmer is the best Smirker in Canterlot High. Well, almost everybody. There are some people who think they smirk better, and are willing to challenge her during the Smirking Contest. They are definitely not prepared to handle Sunset and her smirk.

She still desires to finish her studies, and accepts the assistance of the Sirens in getting enrolled at the other school in Canterlot, Crystal Preparatory Academy. There, she has to deal with all sorts of new drama, from faces both new and familiar, as she struggles to not get wrapped up in the status quo of the Academy.
