Inspired by fanart from artist Banshee42ru. Set a few years after Season 2 (pending future edits), the story follows the relationship of Spike and Apple Bloom. Their young love takes a serious turn when she finds herself pregnant with a half-dragon, half-pony foal. How will their family and friends react, and what will this halfbreed child mean for them and Equestrian society as a whole?

NOTE: Updates and new chapters tend to take a rather long time, but unless I actually put it as 'On Hiatus' I actually am working on it. It's not abandoned, I just have a really slow writing process.
Also, a while back someone sent this to Equestria Daily without asking me. I appreciate the thought, but they work on a strike system and I really don't want to be locked out.

Twilight, in an effort to help Applejack and Rainbow Dash achieve their dream of having a foal together, casts a spell that, unbeknownst to the princess, envelops all of Ponyville and plunges the little ponies (and one dragon) into a vortex of unknown genetic exchange and unplanned parenthood. What's more, the solution may come with severe complications of its own, and thus Twilight finds herself tasked with finding a resolution where there is likely none to be had.

Two weeks after Rainbow Dash's berrification, the town still hasn't stopped teasing her about it. Dash is not at all happy and wishes that Twilight and Pinkie Pie could get a taste of their own medicine. With a mischievous revenge scheme in mind, Rainbow sets out to enact her plan. After pranking Pinkie Pie, however, Rainbow Dash gains an unexpected partner in her shenanigans.

In attempt to earn their cutie marks, the Crusaders invade Twilight's library to find a spell that can help them. To their surprise, they find exactly what they ask for. Now Sweetie Belle has to try and juggle a singing career, and caring for her filly sister,Applebloom learns the good and bad side of apple based sales and Scootaloo tries to be more than a friend to small cyan filly. Twilight better find a cure for this spell, or the Elements may never shine in Equestria again!

Twilight having thoughts about foalhood decides to run an experiment with a new machine to find out what being an unborn foal would be like. She even gets a few of her friends to help with the project.
