The Doctor and Derpy travel to Canterlot on Hearth's Warming Eve, hoping to catch a little bit of the joys of the holidays...

Unfortunately, The Doctor witnesses a sight that is nearly enough to break both his hearts. A young, purple filly wearing a beanie is seen standing at the statue of Discord, appearing to be all by herself on this joyous holiday.

And thus meet two of the loneliest beings in the entire ponyverse.

This is pretty different from how I usually write Screwball, but I wanted to write something hearths warming eve related, something involving The Doctor and Screwball, and something to break my writer's block.

Twilight raced frantically. The horror of the news she had discovered chilled her very heart. How? Why? What did they do to deserve it? All Twilight knew as she raced through Canterlot Palace's great hallways is that she was coming. And Twilight would pay the price.

The end of an era...

After a 980 year war of ponies and dragons comes to an end, Celestia finds herself the victor.

And yet, as Celestia pulls her sword from the head of the final dragon, she cries.

An entire species is extinct by her hooves. She ponders if she would ever forgive herself for her actions.

And yet, as she began to lower the sun on this war something catches her eyes...

Twilight had over heard Anon and Spike talk about a strange game called Rock, Paper, Scissors. She now wants to learn this game but Anon won't teach her. So she does the second best thing, follow him about begging to be taught it.

These stories continue the adventures of Feather Wind, Stern Wing, and Vision's journey with eccentric Time Lord the Doctor and his adorable assistant, Derpy Hooves. This is the sort of sequel to "Sky Dancer, the First Flying Unicorn". More specifically, it is an extension of chapter 17, "Adventures in the TARDIS". While reading Sky Dancer is not required, these stories will most definitely have spoilers for everything before chapter 17 but not after that chapter because those chapters haven't happened yet in this timeline. This is a closer look at the years Feather recapped past for his daughter. However, these new stories won't be flashbacks anymore. Rather it will be told as if these events are occurring in the present tense.

Each of these stories will be told in its own arc which follows the formula of the classic Doctor Who series. When an individual adventure is complete, the next story will be told in its own arc. Some threads of these stories might have an over-arcing story, but otherwise, they'll have an episodic formula. Great effort is made to make this series feel like an authentic Doctor Who episodes insofar as characters, setting, events, and plot are concerned but they'll have an MLP twist.

The Doctor and Derpy are in 1832 Equestria, where they hear a fillys story about a mysterious stallion who is always seen sitting in a bench in the woods, but when you get close to him, the stallion disappears. Is it some kind of optical illusion in the leaves, or is something more going on here? Could this filly's story actually be true?

Princess Twilight has been ruling Equestria for ten years and going strong. During the tax season, she gets an unexpected, but very welcome visitor.

Set between MLP:FiM Season 3 and 4.

Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles find themselves against Dr. Eggman once again, the scientist wanting to use the Chaos Emeralds for an unknown plan.

Unfortunately, the plan involved sending the trio to another world, which he plans to conquer as well as seek what are known as the Elements of Harmony. The fate of Equestria hangs in the balance as the heroes of both worlds must join forces against Eggman's robot army.

Can Team Sonic and the Elements foil Eggman’s latest scheme or will they fail?

I've seen this idea done before, but as a fan of Sonic and MLP: FiM, I wanted to give it a go myself.

This, basically, is the story of Sonic Generations, but crossed over with the MLP:FiM universe, with Spike and the Main Six taking the place of Classic Sonic and Classic Tails with other MLP characters also appearing (most aren't listed to prevent spoilers). Except for Green Hill, there will be different areas explored, as well as pony rivals and different era bosses. So while it will have its similarities to the console and 3DS versions of the actual game, it will definitely have its differences too.

Also, in case anyone was wondering, there will NOT be any shipping in this story. At the very least, no crossover shippings. No SonicxRD, TailsxTwilight, TailsxFluttershy, or anything like that. If there is any shipping at all, it will only be between characters from the same universe. And the only humans in this story are Dr. Eggman and the ones that appear in the "Sonic Unleashed" level.

And I aim to give it the much needed improvement in quality that's so desperately needed with this particular crossover genre.
