The two bearers of the Elements of Harmony have done a good job keeping their relationship hidden for a while, after discovering the feelings they mutually shared. Rainbow Dash couldn't be happier, and sometimes she can't believe how lucky she is to love and be loved by the breath-taking mare Applejack is, physically and emotionally. She is convinced the same goes for her lover, but one night she comes to terms with the upsetting truth, realizing how much her past can still influence her present.

This is the very first story I publish on FIMFiction, so I probably messed up with tags and genres - forgive my inexperience, and please tell me how to correct the mistakes I might have made... Anyway, I hope you enjoy this first completed arc of mine dedicated to my beloved OTP

Rainbow Dash's mom receives a letter about her daughter's heroism in combat. Now she sits, shaking and trying her best to keep it together as she reads the letter at the kitchen table with tears coursing down. Her daughter was a hero. Was. You see, Captain Rainbow "Danger" Dash of the 91st Wing...isn't coming home.

Pinkie immediately goes on a mad search to find her lost pet, and in the process, might discover a truth she didn't want to face.

Gummy is the best pet in the world! He always listens to me, never moans or complains when I talk too much, and always comes along with me without any resistance. Sure, he isn't much of a talker, but he's a really swell listener. Every day I spend with him is super fantastic!

Yet, Mr. and Mrs. Cake always look sad every time I play with Gummy. Those sillies! Don't they know that Gummy couldn't hurt me even if he wanted to? He's all gums! Duh! Even my friends have been showing "concerns" about my relationship with Gummy.

I don't know why they're being such party poopers all of a sudden!

He's been helping a human named Jack deliver newspapers since coming here, and in the newspaper industry, there's no such thing as a holiday, unless the presses break down and can't be fixed by 8am the next day. This New Years Eve, Rudy and Jack go out to do what they do every night, but tonight might just be something special for the first time, as a mare he's come to fancy working inside the press building asks him a strange question.

Written for Admiral's Not a Contest contest. I delivered newspapers most of my life, and we worked every day, every night, holidays be damned. I wanted to convey just how... normal a holiday would be to us. It was just another day, like Christmas, or Easter. We worked, we lived on, and we did the same thing every night, from when I was a baby, up to my mid 20's. Side note: I'm immune to paper cuts.

Teenage Derpy Hooves has gotten pregnant, and she doesn’t know what to do. How will her coltfriend react? What will her friends and family say? Can she be a good mom? She wants to be a good mom, but she doesn’t have a job and she can’t even see straight!
She’s heard that a wise mare lives in the Everfree Forest. Better yet, a wise mare that nopony talks to. She sets off into the winter woods seeking her. But can she even make it there alive?
