What happens when a god dies?

Ever since the Summer Sun Celebration, Twilight has been settling in to life in a small town away from Canterlot. And while she loves her new friends, she can't help but admit that it's a much bigger change than she'd initially thought.

But things like homesickness, getting lost, and dealing with the way everyone seems to stare at you and whisper are all just part of moving somewhere new.

Twilight just needs to adjust.

There is no such thing as a gut feeling, not really. If you suddenly start to feel afraid for no apparent reason, it's very unlikely to be anything serious. But it doesn't make it feel any better does it?

Twilight is up burning the midnight oil again, when suddenly every sense she has tells her that something is terribly wrong. There can't be anything really wrong though, not in reality.

One night, Luna comes to talk to her sister about an idea she has that might allow her to see Rarity one last time.

Rainbow is an unpredictable drunk.
Rarity, on the other hand, is usually very predictable indeed.
After a long night's drinking, the two of them have a heart to heart.

Twilight has never really given much thought to all the different gadgets and technology being developed throughout Equestria.
However one day she begins to think about it, and she realises just how inconsistent it all is.
I mean seriously, what kind of society has developed mobile phones, but is still using horse-drawn carriages?

It's Rarity's birthday, and her friends want nothing more than to give everypony's favourite fashionista a day as fabulous as she is.

Can they make sure that Sugarcube Corner is decorated, the presents wrapped and the food prepared before the birthday girl arrives?

No. No they can't.
