Of course, if one certain Snake of Shadows and Chaos has anything to say about that, Sunset's happiness won't last. Now, it's up to Somnambula to take on the hardest challenge she's ever faced. Her country, or her love?

Marooned on a world on the Outer Rim (Totally not her fault, negotiations just went sour, after all!) and in the midst of the Clone Wars and with perhaps very little chance at being found, Twilight Sparkle begins to wonder if the Code's entirely correct in it's laws...

It was just a simple walk home for one Indigo Zap, from a really bad action flick. That is, till she nearly got killed Christine style by a rogue Lamborghini Diablo with one really wild driver. A little research from a certain former Crystal Prep student and her illusionist girlfriend, and the Shadowbolts find themselves and their whole lives transforming and changing in ways they couldn't possibly imagine as they find themselves dealing with intergalactic robot criminals and the team sent to hunt them down and bring them to justice.

Sunset Shimmer, now Champion of the Sinnoh Region, recounts a tale to one of her fellow Champions, about how she met one of her best friends and partners. It started like any other day for Sunset Shimmer on her Johto Journey, arriving in Cianwood for her next Gym Badge. Normal, right? However, when she stumbles across a Lucario who she suspects may have been abused by his former trainer, suddenly Gym Badges are the last thing on her mind. Instead, she faces something far more challenging. Can she fix what's been broken, or is she doomed to failure?
