After the events of Ghosting, Soarin's family has settled down into a fairly regular routine. Dash has mellowed out, Haze isn't always so combative with his mother anymore, and Prism is still obsessed with his favorite toys: the Roboknight model kits.

A new movie is coming out for the Roboknights franchise, and unfortunately for Soarin, the rest of his family wants to see it.

In the year 2221 on January 10th, Celestia has come to Luna with a mission package, one she believes is necessary to keep the country safe. Opposing forces have been building up new technology and Celestia worries that they finally may have come to the point where new technology can match the power of the ancient alicorns. However, the relationship between Celestia and her family members has been rocky as of late. She only hopes that their differences can be put aside for the sake of the nation.

In the year 2279, the world is controlled by the four conglomerates: Alicorn Electronics, Chemical Language Industrial Front, Glorious Iron Industries, and Sea Air and Space Technologies. The globe and the space colonies are divided between the four colonies, but AE, once Equestria, controls the moon, retaining the upper hoof on all the others. This, however, doesn't mean there is no conflict.

Little sparks have broken out all over the place as technology advances. The first Bionic Titan ever created was a CLIF machine that went 'rogue' and headed straight to AE's capital, only falling to CEO Luna herself. On that day of the Summer Sun Celebration, June 22nd of 2222, the world had changed. An arms race began between the four conglomerates, and four generations of titans have come in its wake from all over the world. AE holds the crown for now, but the others are always advancing and gunning for it. Titans can now overpower an alicorn, and that means, something is about to change.

On the winds of a new era, two ponies in the poverty of the poorest island of SAST's Cavalisa Archipellago receive word about a job from an unusual employer. He asked for a pilot, so they went to the best around: a young stallion who goes by the name Zap Flash.

Applejack finds out the hard way that she is one of the few sane ponies in Ponyville. Or perhaps Equestria overall. Because of this, Princess Luna often comes to visit to discuss her policy plans with the farm pony. Hi-jinks ensue.

Twelve years ago, Rainbow Dash caused a tragedy in order to save her son's life.

The trauma of that day forever changed her from the happy, sporty, encouraging mother into a paranoid, overly cautious, overbearing hover mom. When Haze was a foal, he couldn't have known how strange this treatment was. As he's on the verge of becoming a young stallion, however, he can tolerate Dash's interference in his life less and less as the days pass.

All the while, Soarin is watching from the sidelines, wondering what to do about it. Before too long, something is going to give, and with two of the most stubborn, hard headed ponies in the world in this picture, somepony is going to get hurt.

To fix his own family and find a way out of this difficult situation, Soarin must first confront his own past: memories from long ago, haunted by the mother who abandoned him.

A year has passed since that ugly crystal tree-castle grew up in the middle of Ponyville. Nopony can convince me otherwise, and I've made my opinion known to Twilight. We had our adventures, we had our fun, but now, it's back to normal. Things have settled, some for the better, but most for... the worst.

The Orchard is in bad shape. Granny is in bad shape. And since January, I haven't had so much as a day off. Too much work, not enough ponies to do it, and no extra money to get help, it all seems to be swirling around the drain. Course, that's just the status quo. Now that a mare has walked into my brother's life, things are only bound to get a lot worse.

Rarity never thought she would be a mother. In her late teens and early twenties, she always thought her friends might end up with big families of their own, but doubted she'd ever find something that would work with the life she wanted to make room for a family. However, if she's learned anything since then, it's that the Goddess spits on the plans of ponies. Between her job running a fashion empire, her love life, and her daughter, she can't ever seem to manage her time right.

After thirteen years of worry and wonder if she's ever been the mother her daughter needs, she gets a call... or, well, misses one, that might just put her on a new direction.
