Please tell me there's gonna be a sequel:applecry:. Right? There's gonna be a sequel? Right? RIGHT? RIGHT?!?!?!?!?!:flutterrage:

Great Ending! (if there's a sequel) I really like your writing style.
And there better be a sequel:pinkiecrazy:

2381183 I don't know yet. I may write a sequel, but we will have to see :twilightsmile:

2384984 It's set up pretty well for a sequel. If you decide to write one, I'll be ready and waiting. If not, well, all good things must come to an end sometime:pinkiesad2:

2385005 I'm actually working on a sequel now for another story of mine, and then after that I have a comedy story that I wanted to try and write. If I see that I have time, I will see what I can do for a sequel to this story.

WHY U DO DIS?
*sigh* I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. Knowing you, you've probably got a nice little sub-sequel to this in the back of your head. Again, knowing you, Fluttershy says no, which cause a rift between her and Rainbow, effectively splitting them apart, leaving Scootaloo to choose which of the two former lovers she wants to live with. Of course, she has a difficult time as she loves them both dearly. She finally comes to a conclusion, and then later realizes she would actually rather have the one she didn't pick. But it's too late now, because that woman has exiled herself from the known lands of Equestria to prevent there being awkwardness between their group of friends. This causes Scootaloo to grow up through the rest of her childhood living in regret. Slowly, ever so slowly, she begins to hate the one she did choose, and after living half of her life in regret, takes action on those new feelings. She kills the parent she chose in cold blood. She then leaves Ponyville in search of the parent she wishes she had chosen, and after 11 years of nothing, she is beginning to lose hope. She grows tired of living off of the land and constantly being on the move. She then finds a small hut atop a hill overlooking a cliff. Being cold and hungry, she approaches the hut. She knocks. No answer. A second time. Nothing. A third time. The door slowly swings open on its own. She then realizes it was never even closed all the way. She yells if anyone is home. No response. Again. Nothing. She further investigates the small home, and enters what appears to be the bedroom. Upon inspection of the nightstand, she sees a picture. A picture of herself, along with both of her parents, before all this happened. She is overjoyed at this, because it means she has finally found the home of her long lost mother. But she can't seem to find her. She exits the house to find a small chair at the edge of the cliff. She approaches. A small note is found sitting in the chair. She picks it up to find her name on it. She opens and reads:
"Scootaloo, if by some odd chance you find this, I just want to say I'm sorry. I'm sorry I was never the mother you deserved. I'm sorry I could never make you as happy as you should have been. I'm sorry. I miss you, and I hope you haven't forgotten about me. It's so sad here, without you. It hurts. I can't take it anymore. Goodbye my sweet child. I love you."
Scootaloo's heart is filled with sadness. After all this time, she realizes this woman loved her more than any other could. She is devastated. Her whole life was wasted spending time with that other pathetic excuse of a mother. She walks towards to cliff edge. "I love you too, mommy." She says as she shifts her weight forward. She falls ever so gracefully. She closes her eyes, and says her final goodbyes to the world she never really had the chance to experience. She opens her eyes. Something catches her eye at the bottom of the cliff, just a few feet away now. It is the mother she has spent half of her life searching for. There is a smile on her face, but the rest of her body is lying there, hopelessly broken and twisted.
A single tear escapes her eyes.
Darkness.

2403925 :twilightoops::pinkiesick::rainbowhuh::fluttershbad::applecry::applejackconfused::unsuresweetie::trixieshiftright: OH shoot. That was really quite interesting :rainbowlaugh: although it's not particularly the direction I was taking this in; however, this sounds like it would make a great story or sequel. Maybe if you wanted to, you could write it? Give me the credit for the first half and make your own sequel out of it that you think fits if that's what you want to do. I for one was not certainly sure if I wanted to make a sequel or not. :duck: But if you or anyone wants to for me, that would be fine by me

2405905 Eh I'm not sure about writing a sequel. That was really just for shits and giggles. But thanks anyway

2405982 I wasn't exactly sure if you were serious about it xD But that's cool. I really did kind of want to leave this story just like that. Hanging on and on...you know how I am with my cliff hangers :raritywink::heart:

SEQUEL PLEASE I MUST HAVE A SEQUEL ILL DO ANYTHING FOR A SEQUEL

I DEMANDS A SEQUEL! if that's okay w-with y-y-you that is? :fluttershysad:

This was a very well written story. It deserves an award of some sort. I've read a modest number of fanfic, and I can confidently say that this just became a favorite. And since ending it like that without a sequel would be a crime, I will eagerly await the sequel (you ARE writing a sequel, right?).

About the sequel....I truthfully don't have a lot of time to write one now, but maybe in the future you will see that I have found the time

The story was good :moustache:but why cliffhanger :raritycry:
