Dashverse AU: Rainbow Dash, the student of Queen Celestia, finds herself in the awkward position of playing diplomat when Ember, the Dragon Lord, suddenly takes up residence in a mountain just outside Ponyville. This is attracting all manner of attention, including from other dragons.
Rainbow Dash has to find out what brought Ember to Ponyville and what's going on in the Dragon Lands. Luckily, she's being aided by a dragon expert Celestia dispatched from Canterlot. Unluckily, Twilight has a bit of a history with him, which only complicate Rainbow Dash's own efforts to muddle through this stint of draconic diplomacy.

Hello there. Thanks very much for getting this next story in your revised Dashverse up and running. So far, it looks like a really good effort on the dialogue, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up. Yeah, Rainbow investigating the smoke and witnessing that "fight" between Sludge and Ember before stepping in makes a lot of sense. Also liked Rainbow TRYING to be careful to analyze the situation as well as be diplomatic, even if Ember was being a bit too stubborn to listen. Though, yes, Ember being that tired from all of her spars makes sense and Rainbow is lucky that Ember showed enough respect for her nerve and honesty to let her leave. Of course, the problem still isn't solved and now they are going to have to think of something else.
REALLY looking forward to more of this (ESPECIALLY this universe's Spike being properly introduced).

Minor typo at one point. You wrote "hoped" instead of "hopped" at one point.
This is a very interesting one here and also turn of events as well so it looks like Rainbow Dash is going to take a break after A Hard Day's work but until she saw smoke and it's usually not a good thing and Celestia ask rainbow to check it out what was going on which she did and it turns out there were two dragons dooking out and it's dragonlord ember and sludge and after that little battle ember saw rainbow and basically attacked her as well good thing that rainbow knows how to hold herself despite she's in a disadvantage but then sludge showed up and tried to ambush ember which that did not sit well for rainbow so she threw the Rock at him knocking him out saving ember's life but she was pretty surprised that ponies can hold themselves especially to dragons I guess and it looks like Rainbow Dash got in her good side now the problem is what they're going to do about the situation that a couple of dragons want to challenge the dragon lord I wonder how this will work out guess we'll find out next time

Again, you did a really good job on the dialogue, characterizations and future chapter set-up. Definitely liked Twilight and Rainbow's chat about the way Rainbow knocked and the timing of the visit as well as the letters between Celestia and Rainbow (ESPECIALLY with that Mythology Gag concerning the note on Twilight not needing to complete her assignments that quickly as well as on the note concerning the previous Dragon Lord and the stuff concerning the yaks) before Spike's arrival. The details on the others' whereabouts make sense too. Yeah, Twilight's reaction to the fact that this is the dragon she hatched in her entrance exam should be good to see, as well as Spike reassuring her that he got a pretty good gig as an ambassador between ponies and dragons.

I'm looking forward to reading the rest and I guess that Celestia intends this to be a learning experience for Rainbow Dash beside the official reasons. Also the fact that Rainbow Dash and Ember have some common ground will help since Ember might not give a random diplomat the time of day.
