The School of Friendship thinks Smolder and her friends are role models and can encourage other non-ponies to come to the school. Smolder isn't quite so sure she fits the bill of what's needed. A chance encounter with Rainbow Dash gets her involved as she tries to show Smolder that she's a better role model than she thinks.

My take on a scene that probably should have been in My Little Pony: A New Generation. Pipp Petals and Zipp Storm finally hash things out before going on to Bridlewood.

As a filly, Twilight Sparkle used her incredible magic to hatch a dragon egg. That dragon then became her lifelong companion, friend, and even sibling: Smolder.

Now Smolder has a chance to learn more about her own kind by meeting a dragon born and raised in the Dragon Lands. She has to figure out what to do next and what that could mean for her--and her family.

Instincts are a powerful thing. For dragons, they're even stronger than most. Ocellus knows this. But when Smolder's instincts drive her into a hoarding frenzy, she's the one who must find a way to reach past those instincts and get through to Smolder herself, as well as discover a few things about herself along the way. Even if everyone knows the one thing you should never do is go into a dragon's lair.

Even if it's made of pillows.

This story is a sequel to Midnight Rendezvous

A sequel to “Midnight Rendezvous” by RainbowDoubleDash, itself a sequel to “We Finally Did It” by Rated Ponystar.

After Sandbar's announcement about him and Yona having done "it" provoked a lot of confusion and embarrassment, now it's Smolder and Ocellus' turn. Their own announcement about "it" creates a different kind of confusion, but still a lot of embarrassment.

Takes place after "The Break Up Break Down"

Applejack is wondering if she's been a good influence on her quiet, withdrawn older brother or not. Rainbow Dash drops by to toss in her two bits as the two discuss how big an influence siblings are in shaping a pony's life, liberally punctuated by snark.

Note: I wrote this up shortly after the episode aired and promptly forgot about it. It's a pretty unpolished work, just a one-shot of two characters chatting, but I figured I might as well share it. If nothing else, hopefully the two trading barbs is good for a few chuckles.
