When a pair of Federation mobile suits appear in Equestria by accident - all their pilots can hope to do is figure out a way to regroup with any and all allied forces in this completely alien land. What they didn't expect - or at least they were hoping to avoid - was the attention from the ponies, dragons, and other wide varieties of creatures all around them.

It's more of a hassle than they'd like to admit.

To know what's good for ya, the MLP Natives should leave our poor Federation pilots and their Gundam suits well enough alone.

Or they will make the biggest mistake of their lives.

Interesting story, So are they just federation pilots or Titan? Form the looks of it it seems to happen a while before Grips war actually went in full swing, when Zeta Gundam came around. I wonder if Zeon Remnant and A.E.U.G. also got trapped in this world and be part of the story. Personally I never go why their were so many Zeon remnant still lurking around and keep on fighting well after the O.Y.W., when all hopes for a victory was lost, I am assuming that the armestisse allowed them to go back home unmelated, and not to be put trial for any war crimes. Between 0080 and 0083 things had become pretty chill until Operation Stardust happened and the TItian started exacerbating things. I would have thought that a lot of them were absorbed into the AEUG, unless they kept in contact with Axis somehow. Through I wonder what this story will be about one the main plot comes into play. I hope there will be Pony MS in this story later down the road.
And, if you are interested to know I have designed a number of pony mechas in the past in my DeviantArt Gallery here.

Here are a few example of my stuff.

A competent Gundam story on the horizon? yes, please. all the others I've looked into either miss the point of Mobile Suit Gundam, or were abandoned with just 4 chapters, (Pacific Rim stories are similarly unfortunate)

this may not be Gundam Stargazer (a narrative freebie if ever i saw one) but I'll take it

This is without a doubt. The best Gundam crossover I've seen in a long time. Consider it both liked and favorited.

The thing I love most about this crossover is that the mobile suits are Hizacks. I've always been a fan of that design and thought it looked so much cooler in the Federation's color scheme.

11696614
YESSS
Gryps Conflict era grunt suits hit hard.

Really great chapter and it really did a god job in show how casually dangerous mobile suits can be, just by being near it, even mentioning what type of weapons they aren't supposed to used in populated areas. Twilight, RD, Princess Celstecta are really shown to be be competent in managing a crisis in this forest fire. Great job on that, I sure hope those two those two pilots will be held responsible for starting that fire in the first place, not to mention if a Hydra could maybe be considered a protected spices for ponies.

11696693
I love the Refine Barzam and all the mech design from the Sentinel series. God I wish I had bought that MG AKO Hobby Refine Barzam Conversion kit back in the day.

" There is a grave threat somewhere in Equestria, and there's no way to pinpoint where it could be."

Be careful on NOT provoking the pilots.

11696758

Don't blame Monroe for what Rosa did. And even then.

It's the Hydra's fault for being stupid enough to attack a literal Mobile Suit.

It was both a accident, and a very stupid decision to use a very powerful laser weapon on a forest of all things!

P.S. Everything does lead to Twilight getting the full blame for all of this.

Because, she always have to mess with a random teleportation/retrieval spell that always goes wrong in most stories like this. :facehoof: :ajbemused:

So far, it still has my interest. I look forward to seeing what's next.

Maybe Twilight getting a proper reprimand for reckless use of magic & reckless endangering of others on a possible planetary scale? Perhaps a smack across her muzzle in public as well? I doubt she ever got properly disciplined or punished growing up. No creature is that hypocritical or mentally weak & unstable without having lived a sheltered life and being kept from being diagnosed for mental problems. I mean, we've seen that mental institutions are a thing in Equestria, Ponyville has one such place. Twilight not being in one can only be attributed to her association as Celestia’s student.
There's more than a dozen different extinction level outcomes she could have caused. Exposure of a disease that spreads unchecked, invasive species no creature knows how to handle, or she could've teleport a deployed nuke! Or worse.

So I'm enjoying the serious undertone that's been built up so far. No "get out of the dungeon or court room scroll" this time. A ruler can't sweep away every incident caused by one subject's recklessness forever. She certainly didn't tolerate Nightmare Moon or Sunset Shimmer for their intentional actions. If she lets Twilight get away with this, it would be grounds for charging the crown with treason, for an act of abused power that puts the citizens & country at risk. Then there's the worry of what their neighbors, allies, and other nations of the world would think. A real minefield of political consequences has been setup by Twilight Sparkle from Celestia’s years of selfishness in wanting a successor to the throne. It's called having an heir you cake gobbling @#$%&!!!!

Ok... I got a little... heated there, but I still stand by it despite the intentional dramatics. :moustache:

11697016
This would only apply once any of the mobile suits or the Atlas made contact with Equestria. Twilight will put two and two together and realize what she's done. But until then, nopony will realize a botched test spell brought an entire otherworldly army to Equestria.

Well looks like they brought their conflict to Equestrian and are going to continue their war now. I wonder what will make them stop, or if there will be more to this conflict then as Zeon remanence and EFSF, through I wouldn't be surprised by one of them taking over another nation and claim it as their own.

Thanks for another awesome chapter!

My money is on the Wonderbolts finding Monroe and Rosa when they're in battle with the Zeon remnants.

I'm also gonna take a shot in the dark and say that when the ponies learn the histories of both the Federation and the Zeon. They'll side with the Federation soldiers. Their government may be far from perfect but I doubt that Celestia will want anything to do with Zeon when learns about the Zabi family and the atrocities they committed in the OYW.

Sorry but grips era mobile suits are not as fun if they aren't the specials. Woild have prefered 1 year war era

11697439
I picked Gryps Era grunt suits because OYW suits are overused, and 0088 or higher are too OP. Mobile suits are already incredibly dangerous - no need to make them completely unkillable with sub-arms and Newtype weaponry.

11697135
Tbf, given how even Gundam itself portrays the conflict with Zeon...Id find it hard to believe she would want to "side" with either of the two factions, unless one of them gets to her first and feeds her a propoganda pitch that she buys.

Always breaks my heart seeing Gouf Customs get wrecked :fluttercry:

11697696
That is true, but even if the Zeon remnants meet Celestia first and try to portray themselves as freedom fighters. When Monroe or Rosa tell her the details of Operation British which according to the Gundam Wiki the Zeon forces killed BILLIONS of people with a combination of nerve gas and nukes. Celestia and the rest of Equestria will be so disgusted and horrified that I wouldn't be surprised if she practically begs the Federation soldiers to get the Zeon remnants as far away from her ponies as possible.

11697732
Trust me, neither side will be able to argue their case with Celestia.

they won’t get the chance

11697835

What the heck that's supposed to mean!? :ajbemused:

Please, don't make Celestia made the stupidest and dumbass decision ever to attack both sides!!!???

That will automatically get your "precious" kingdom to burn. 🔥

"Hey...what're your thoughts on this Hydra killer?" Fleetfoot found herself asking as she kept her eyes peeled.

"I think whatever could take on something like that is a damn menace," Spitfire said. Her tone remained serious, but not at all rough. "Don't tell me you're losing your nerve."

Never heard of self-defense!? :ajbemused:

Even though I admit, it was overkill. Then again, the mobile suits are already overkill by design.

"Yeah. And that's even more reason to hunt this thing down," Spitfire said. "If something could kill a Hydra like that, then we know for sure that it'll probably take down ponies pretty damn easily. We're not exactly gonna be fighting this thing if we find it, you know?"

"Probably"!? What a stupid observation she makes.

If you seen an unknown person/thing absolutely and easily destroys a gigantic animal like a hydra without issue. Do you really expect your very small, and weak flesh body can do any better compared to the hydra!?

It's freaking common sense, stupid!!!

You don't just provoke a very powerful person that can quite easily kill an elephant or woolly mammoth in one shot!!?? ( Baki the Grappler Reference. )

You will all die horribly, and shockingly easily in a hundreds or even up to the thousands in just a few minutes to an hour. if you provoke the wrong person, who could be a deranged mobile suit pilot that doesn't care about civilian casualties.

"Yeah...but still," Fleetfoot said. "I dunno, just being worried is all."

"Hey," Spitfire said, turning to look at her teammate through her goggles. "It'll all turn out fine. You know how good the Royal Guard are. And Princess Celestia or the Elements of Harmony isn't one to let any danger happen to us."

One; Know how "good" the Royal Guard are!? :ajbemused: 😑 🤦 :facehoof:

Did Spitfire lose a lot of brain cells when she got knocked out by Rarity of all ponies when she lost her butterfly wings from that specific season 1 episode?

Or got hit by that water tower by Spike suffering his greed growth spurt in that specific season 2 episode?

If the Royal Guard ( That AREN'T the main heroic characters like the Mane 6. ) can't do shit against a regular ole MLP Villain of the day.

And have to let actual civilians ( Basically the Canon Mane Six that didn't have military training. ) using ancient trinkets to save the day!?

Then what the hell, can they even do against a whole bunch of mobile suits!? That we all know can quite easily annihilate them all like a bunch of ants!?

And Two; Celestia also embarrassingly LOST a simple fight against Chrysalis. Not to mention being caught easily by Tempest Shadow with those petrification orbs.

How the heck can she or Luna take on a freaking OP mobile suit built for war!? A whole bunch of them!!??

As for the Mane Six/Elements of Harmony. We all know that WITHOUT plot armor. If even one of them dies, then the elements turned to shit, and every one of you ponies are totally screwed.

Fleetfoot sighed. "I hope so," she said as she continued to look down. As she and Spitfire continued to survey the ground, she wondered what exactly could have done such a terrible thing to a Hydra, no matter how hostile one could be towards ponies.

Pacifist fools! I don't know how you ponies will even survive in a war in your own world.

Anyways, If you see five of those very aggressive Hydra attacking Ponyville all of a sudden. Then don't come crying to me to deal with them with my own Mobile Suit/Gundam. :ajbemused:

"Yeah. I doubt someone can make flying contraptions capable of doing what the Wonderbolts can do," Spitfire chuckled as she flew towards the East, with Fleetfoot following her afterwards.

You naive fool. :unsuresweetie:

Even just 21st century military jet/planes in their top speeds will make you AND Rainbow Dash shit yourselfs.

And that was just a 21st century, compared to the far, far future space-fairing setting of the Gundam franchise.

Rosa really wished she'd used a heat hawk as well. It could superheat and still cause some damage - but it was contained and easy to handle. Beam sabers shot out sparks and burned everything near it, and the realization that she could just wave it around and still destroy everything still terrified her. "Then...I won't go into close combat anymore-"

"You know that isn't possible," Monroe said. "You haven't come across any this time, but you'll need to fight off mobile suits in all forms of combat. Well...if we ever come across any."

How long is she in that mobile suit and how long is she in the federation military? Because, it feels like she is acting like a rookie out of nowhere!?

Because a decent mobile suit pilot veteran should know that in warfare with giant robots.

You have to deal in all forms of combat in very different circumstances. Especially hand-to-hand/close combat.

Perhaps they could make it back to the Atlas after all...

...if it wasn't currently on the other side of the planet. Not that Rosa or Monroe knew that little fact.

Dang it!!!

11697732
True but its also important to remember that the rank and file soldiers of Zeon didnt know that they were killing the colonists with those gas attacks, and that the goal of Operation British was to drop the colony on Jaburo not densely populated areas.

Plus i cant see Celestia wanting to go after the noncombatants that are with the remnant forces just because of their association with them.

(Btw...yes i am a die-hard Zeon fanboy so i admit i am sympathetic to their side)

Damn, at this rate were gonna have the ponies get overwhelmed by the entire dang Federation puling into town!

11698717
It's true that the regular Zeon soldiers weren't aware of the gruesome details of Operation British till much later. But it always bothered me that so many of them still remained loyal to the Zabi family even after the truth came out. And that loyalty was so strong that even when years later. Char revealed he was Zeon's son and on multiple occasions denounced the Zabi family for their crimes against his family and humanity they still immediately tried to make Minerva their new figurehead when Char died.

Anyway, with all that being said. While I'm more of a Titans fanboy (almost all of my MS in GBO2 are painted in their colors). My second favorite faction in the UC timeline is actually Mars Zeon. It's such a shame that their isn't a lot of media featuring them and their "Oldsmobile" mobile suits.

Thanks for yet another awesome chapter!

Something tells me that at least one of those Asshimar pilots is going to gain the title of "Dragonslayer" in the very near future. Also, is there going to be a major battle in one of the pony cities and if so can I get a hint as to which city?

Missed the update, sorry, fun chapter, I wonder how things will turn out

Thanks for another awesome chapter!

So now the Federation and Zeon's war has officially come to Equestria. If that was Celestia's airship that appeared at the end of the battle. With that radiation spreading from the Base Jabber's destruction. I wonder how many ponies will affected by it and if Celestia will be able to help them or if the Minovsky particles will somehow hinder her magic.

And there's what happened with Ember. I'd like to think nothing too bad is going to happen because of her curiosity. But since the Federation soldiers are in a new land and they're confused as hell I wouldn't be surprised if they decide that all dragons are hostile and adopt a "shoot on sight" policy because of Ember's actions.

11701673
Mwahaha
You underestimate a human’s ability to find a smol blue dragon cute

Fun chapter, I wonder if we will see more the Zeon side of thing? I wonder how amber managed to site in the MS chair with her tail in the way? And, how soon will the Equestrian finally manage to get in contact with either sides?

11701734
Next chapter
For both Celestia and Twilight

In the Atlas’s main mobile suit bay stood several mobile suits, all of them safely secured in standing racks on either side of the bay. On the port side were six RMS-179 GM IIs, two RMS-108 Marasais, and two RMS-106 Hizacks in Federation blue colors. The starboard side of the mobile suit bay held an RGM-79SP GM Sniper II, two RGC-83 GM Cannon IIs, an RMS-108 Marasai, and two NRX-044 Asshimars. The last two storage racks on the starboard side of the Atlas’s main bay remained empty.

are the Asshimars taking up 2 slots each? that would have to be the case for it to be 10 a side, and it also makes sense because they are freaking massive, 4 meters taller (and wider probably) than the GM IIs, somehow nearly the same weight tho without armaments, according to the wiki

11702206
Those last two storage racks belong to Rosa and Monroe - and they’re not aboard the Atlas.

In front of the two mobile suits were a pair of RMV-1 Guntank IIs, their navy green color schemes dimmed by the lack of light in the lower deck.

the unfun ones, when they started "evolving, just backwards" into regular tanks without arms again. I prefer the RTX-440s personally

11702221
Same, but those never saw more than a few units built, and the Guntank II did enter mass production before the Gryps Conflict.

Also imagine: two Guntank IIs holding a defensive line alongside several tanks with artillery and rockets

Hoooooo boy, Ember may have just caused a major diplomatic incident.

Plus, the Equestrians seeing what was essentially a mini-nuke go off will cause them to PANICK.

So... at this moment, I'm trying to understand which factions are at play here.
It sounds like Rosa and the guy with her are part of the earth Federation... but this author's note mentions that she got her mech from the Titans, which... iirc... are a rebel group fighting against the federation in Zeta and ZZ. Then there's the Zeon Remnant faction... which makes this a 3-way war?

Or am I mixing up who goes where?

admittedly, most of my information is half-remembered from the Dynasty Warriors: Gundam story mode

11702921
Rosa is in the Earth Federation, but her past is shady and Titans has shown interest in her, which is supposed to clue people in on where she could’ve come from

Monroe and the rest of the Atlas are Federation.

Based Gouf Flight Type being based

Thanks for another awesome chapter!

So Celestia and Twilight have made first contact with both the Federation and Zeon forces. And it looks like said contacts are going pretty well.........is anyone else hearing Murphy starting to laugh right now?

I knew this was gonna get attention the moment I saw this in the new stories section when it released. Let's see where this goes.🍷

Nice to see mediation finally starting between the Equestria, the Zeon and the EFSF, we can hope they had no real reasons to fight anymore sense they aren't even on earth and that the it's EFSF aren't total dicks unlike the Titans who are absolute dicks. For the Zeon, I am not sure, they aren't on earth aren't on the run or hiding, they don't exactly have a home land to go back to anymore, so they have a chance to make a new life for themselves in this world, but on the other hand they were unwilling to surrender, or too afraid to(fore just reasons) for about height years, always short on supplies, so we don't know how stubborn, or how propagandized they have been, and I am not sure they they are that much nicer if they had to do pirating or act as low key warlords just to survive. None of them are really 'nice', I would imagine they all could have a negative effect on Equestria and the other nations, and I am not sure they would be willing to give up all their equipment that could make them masters of this world if they chose to; the only thing holding them back is their low numbers and no infrastructures to maintain or replace their machines, these things can fall apart fast if in constant use. I wonder how is the kid who captured Amber if he is the child of a commander.

Damn, this is getting interesting.

Hopefully we shall see mobile suits curb stomping Sombra.

Oof, the dragon lands, I foresee nothing good coming from this until the ponies arrive. I wanna bet that music might be used soon, but I don't know if we will. Here's a little somethin' for ya'll:

They were silent for a moment before the two golems kneeled before her, arms lowered to the ground. Before she could insist that bowing or kneeling was not necessary, their chests opened up with loud hissing noises. Two bipedal figures climbed out - lowering themselves from thin ropes at the top of the doors. " So they're machines of sorts... " the princess thought to herself.

didn't they just say last chapter that opening the hatch would be a death sentence, nuclear fallout and all that jazz

11708980
They left the death zone. The Base Jabber explosion was miniature, and they made it all the way to the edge of the Badlands, whereas the explosion happened closer to the other side of the entire area.
