During an 100th birthday party, Scootaloo tries to find Pinkie Pie for advice on how to be happy. And by that, she asks Pinkie Pie why she's happy all the time. Scootaloo, having been orphaned and relatively to herself for as long as she can remember, wonders what the point of life is at an early age.
This is a story not just about Pinkie's origins, but about finding the point of it all.

Ah. Still an interesting premise. Nice to see a different take on Pinkie being serious rather than just her normal behavior. Being given an explanation/backstory for it. Hope other people also like it so this can be expanded upon.
