I've always said one thing about who I am as a person. "Eternally in pursuit of the goodness in the heart." It's what called me to the show. It's why I'm here now. And it's what I love to write about.

When we talk about the art of words, how many of them go unwritten? How many thoughts get lost to the wind? How many souls are touched by your craft? And do you feel like you've created a timeless piece that speaks to the heart?

To others, and to your own?

So many words unwritten. How many thousands would fit in between every line on the page. Stories untold. Stories yet to tell. Inspiration for the future readers to interpret and create new stories all their own.

Beautifully done! I like the nods to two of your other works as well! :scootangel:

Quick uptake! Haha. Thanks Serinity. Much love. Just excercising the brain muscles in this momentary lull with a quick oneshot. I figured I'd write something like this sooner or later. I should get in the habit of writing more short stories, but maybe after I complete Beginning.

Holy crap, that hit home. Writing is not easy, and the fact that it's so well illustrated here just gives me a sense of peace. Bravissimo!

Aw shucks, thank you. Mighty kind. I have this habit of thinking too much. Philosophically that is. And I like to probe these types of questions from other authors because I always figured there’s just so much we’re not seeing under the hood of the stories we read. Just how much thought goes into even tiny details that we’ll never get to know if never told outright by the author?

So I made a short story to ask that question, and get a feel for how other writers feel. To show to them that those unspoken words do not go unappreciated by all. If only just in me, but hopefully in more people as they consider my words next time they read their favorite tales. And although I don’t talk about the readers much comparatively, I wanted to say to them how important their contribution to our work means to us.

And finally, I ended the story with one of my own quotes. A small reassurance to myself. That I strive to make my work for others, and for myself. That’s why I’m putting so much love into them where I can. Even if I’m not the wittiest, smartest, or flawless of the authors out there, my work is dedicated to all, even to me.

Long-winded way of saying thank you friend! Glad to know I was able to give you something from my funky writing!

Here I was, looking for something to read to settle down for bed, and I stumble across this.

This piece is so painfully relevant to a conversation I had today that it's borderline freaky.

So thanks for being my little slice of serendipity today!

This hit home a bit for me since I too have struggle writing stories

Thanks. I read it with great pleasure.

Ah, the troubles of starting your story, the joy that comes from getting comments on your work, and so much more all wrapped into one package.

You articulate the numerous thoughts that pop into a writer's head quite well!

The art of writing is difficult to master but worth pursuing. This story says it all.
