Besides, I prefer this type of Twilight x Sombra story then the ones that corrupt Twilight.

Honestly, me too. I think the premise of Twilight becoming evil is always a fun possibility to play with but ultimately it seems unlikely. And I think if I were to expand on the story (e.i. make it longer with actual chapters and arcs) then it would help with Sombra's character growth and not make it seem as abrupt which will consequently help with the OOC aspect.

I've been hesitant to publish anything because very often I find myself writing like this to begin with, and I'm afraid I'll make too brief a scene to have any meaning.

Thank you, I appreciate your sentiment a lot! For me, I agree with the philosophy that sometimes less is more: having your verses be lackluster can often produce a secondary emotion, one that isn't written, to help fill the void within the context. However, you'll know when your scenes need more or if they're perfect untouched. After all, you're the author. You get to decided if your words need more or less because it's your story; you will know what suits it best! :)
