Discord's attack on Equestria was almost successful, mainly because of his knowledge of what was happening in Equestria, and knowledge of the Mane 6. But where did this knowledge come from after being frozen for a millenium? Did he come to know it as he awoke, or did somepony talk to him while in stone form? Find out what really happened after Twilight was turned to stone by a Cockatrice.

Applejack does not wear a fedora. She wears a brown-colored stetson hat. While this is just a small mistake, please do your research before you write a story.
You also overuse the word but, sometimes putting them in places they should not be, making little run-together sentences everywhere. I found other little grammaric mistakes hidden in dialogues and corners. They might be small, but they are there. It's like little drops of ink falling into 10-gallon bottle of water.
One drop is nothing really bad, nor is 5 drops, 10, 20... Then, once there are a lot of little droplets of ink in the water, the ink makes the water taste bad, making it hard to like the water, since it, obviously, tastes bad. I understand that you might have some troubles writing or grammar mistakes are hard to distinguish, but try hard and learn. Gain experience. Skill.
Grammar is not a tough thing. It just requires some practice and experience.

Ah a stetson I see, everyone i talked to said it was a fedora. I've researched quite a lot of things for previous stories, just the hat is something I never thought was all that great a deal. And yes, I am trying my to perfect my grammar skills, I proofread this a few times over, there should be no spelling mistakes, but I didn't believe the word but had been used too much, but I guess these things do matter to some of higher expectations. And what's wrong with adverbs

I strongly believe in telling it the way it is for I find that it's better to be onist and strait up with a matter. Excellent! I love stories related through dialogue. They are really interesting. By the way, the redaction was brilliant. I missed some more characterization in the description of the dialogue, but it was still amazing. The interactions between Twilight and Discord were amusing yet captivating. Well done!
Quite a curious fic. Of course, this was written quite a long time ago during the era of Season 2 so I do keep that in mind, but I've always thought of being petrified by a cockatrice would be one of the worst things ever on the show, as assumedly a pony could be trapped forever.
Twilight accidentally giving up all the information Discord needs to finalise his escape and launch Equestria into chaos is a suitable idea. For a dark ending divergence of The Return of Harmony, I suppose Discord could reveal that Twilight gave him all the information he needed to take over again, and that would completely discord her, thus ending all possible opposition against him.
Saying that, it would be rather interesting to see some of the possible other ponies or other sapient creatures in history that were petrified and interacted with Discord for a while. At least they wouldn't be bored while in stone (and I suppose they'd be eventually freed once Discord breaks free, because as chaotic evil as he is early on, he wouldn't be so evil as to leave a pony trapped in stone, where all he or she has to look forward to is an unending lack of anything).
That is why he knew all of their names and elements when he broke out of stone! OMG! Now I will be thinking of this whenever I watch the episode. :D
