We all make choices. Decisions that are often thrust upon us by circumstance more often than personal desire. For Orion, his choices will lead him through the veil of our world and into the wonder of another.

I have loved the rewrite so far. But the one thing I can't wait to see is more interactions between Orion and Twilight.
also Orbitz was a non-carbonated fruit-flavored beverage produced by The Clearly Food & Beverage Company of Canada, makers of Clearly Canadian.

You looked that up. But I'll allow it. I miss that drink.
So far, I have no real complaints with the rewrite. I really loved the original version and this story so far has been everything that was awesome about that one just dialed up a few notches. And yes I remember the Orbitz drinks from when I was a kid.
As for my thoughts on the chapter. Even though the cultists have summoned an eldritch terror to aid them. It seems like Shining and his allies are still 100% in control of the situation. Now I kinda want things to go badly for them since this whole battle is feeling a bit one-sided now.
Don't get me wrong, this side arc with Shining and Spitfire has been an awesome read and if this battle does end in a near perfect victory for them. I won't be disappointed. It's just that for how organized and powerful we know the cult is. I would've expected them to have stronger countermeasures for dealing with unicorns as powerful as Shining and Pestle.
Also, since you're starting the intro to the next arc. How many more chapters are left for this one? I'm guessing at least 4.

I meant to mention I looked it up, guess I forgot
Well, that was a fun chapter to read, even has some good world building in it. They seem even more cornered than last time, even going so far as sacrificing two of themselves if I read that correctly, for a hopeful ace.

I've done some research on cultists, especially considering what I am writing now. And throughout my half-assed study, the larger ones tended to either ignore, or fail to plan, for issues that may arise.
In the case of Shadowed Dawn and her cohort, they were not expecting anything other than a bunch of griffons to contend with. Their orders and goal in this was support. Facilitate the chaos so to speak.
And the amount of chapters is a secret. I ain't tellin' shit.
11891289
Haha your all good. I was just seeing if there was any reading that was as old as me.
11891299
That makes sense. Since I compared the cultists to Hydra a while back. I assumed that their organization operated in a very similar manner.
Also I've got one more quick question for you. Could I get a hint as to what kind of revenge Daybreaker will enact on Griffonia for all the setbacks and headaches they've caused her?
11891327
I can't. More so because a lot of what is done in slow, and gradual. The things that happened to Griffonia did not begin overnight. Societies back in the olden times were not so tied up with the economy as much. So degradation is a slow thing, but inevitable.
Her attack, so to speak, will likely come into play with political pressure. In the form of Tariffs and embargos. She will also likely manipulate those other nations, like Prance, into something similar. A spider doesn't want the flu to see it for what it is, so to does Dawnbreaker not wish to be ousted so easily into public scrutiny.
Man I’m going to need to reread the story to get the full experience of these new chapters. I forgot basically everything that happened to Orion 💀

So my evil plan is working...
11891339
I didn't know spiders caught the flu
Also great chapter can't wait for more
11891520
Lol, that meant to be fly, but I got fat fingers
Orbitz was only ever popular because of their gimmick, they actually tasted pretty bad compared to other sodas at the time. I know some people that collected a bunch of them, they do look pretty cool. Anyways, great chapter, if a bit scarce of the Orion™️ Brand sarcasm.
My only criticism is that there aren't enough big booty bitches. You'd be surprised how much that helps a story.
I always saw Orbitz in stores when I was a kid, but at the time I thought it was some weird adult alcoholic drink of some kind so I never tried it
11891619
Celestia is a big booty bitch. So is Cadence. Hell, even Shining had a dump truck. Sadly, Orion is average
11891631
I used to get them after Sunday school, I always enjoyed them, but I cannot deny they were a gimmick.
I remember them. Some of the flavors were ok. Others, not so much. Somewhat like “baby’s first bubble tea” just not as good.
Around the same time, SoBe Beverage Co. drinks began showing up. I personally liked their orange/carrot and lemongrass/lemonade. Also, fire (a dragonfruit drink) in Snapple’s elements series was quite good.
Nope, Nope, Nope.

For those who know, I had to pick that first one because the ship is named "SES Hammer of Dawn."
Excellent chapter as usual. I'd take you up on your request feedback, but I'd rather wait to see where this is going.
I don't remember Orbitz since I'm too young for that- assuming it's a drink from before '99- but a few channels on YouTube I'm subscribed to have mentioned it. Some weird stuff with something like boba in it if I'm remembering right?
11891639
Nooo average Orion
11891896
Absolutely, can I get a link to that channel? I love nostalgia!
11891861
Ah, the "SES Hammer of Dawn," it was either that or the SES Prophet of Truth, for hours I couldn't decide on the ship's name for the life of me
